Great place for a party, baby shower, bridal shower, etc. Unfortunately, I don’t know the pricing for renting. I like the southern, vintage, plantation house feeling it gives.

I don't even know where to start when it comes to the Woman's Club of Homestead. You are only allowed 4 hours to set up the day before your event and allowed 30 minutes the day of to finish setting up, which in our case was a wedding. That was not enough time. And while we were setting up I'm only guessing she was an assistant of some sort to Anne the owner, Joann was taking pictures of us setting up. We all wondered why. Well shortly after we left from setting up we get a call from Anne saying "we better not be having some type of drunk fest in my club or we're going to have problems." Maybe because we were setting up a "bar" which they provided us with. We just stocked up with our own liquor. If they didn't want drinking then that is something they should mention in the contract. Secondly we were told we had till 12am to clean up and leave. So at 11, Anne decided to show up yelling "get out" to all of our guest (this is after people were already leaving) grabbing some guest including minors by the arm, shoving them out the door and closing/locking the door behind them. I have never in my life seen such an unprofessional establishment. Shortly after everyone was very upset but still cleaning up Anne left and left her husband Red in charge. Anne stating before she left that the floors had to be mopped and Red stating after Anne left they did not. The communication is terrible. We cleaned with no problem. And made sure to take pictures of the whole place including bathrooms so there would be no problems. I'D HIGHLY NOT recommend renting this Club for any events. They have no sense of customer service what so ever.

I had my baby shower here a 4 hour event & this venue is not cheap. $160 per hour plus a $100 cleaning fee and a $300 refundable deposit. Nothing is provided and we actually were asked if we brought are own paper towels which we did!! We had to take down tables from the party before us and after our party we were told we had to put them back out. Originally I was told I would have 4 hours the day before to decorate but no time the day of, we were rushed at 2.5 and had to wrap up at 3 hrs. I could have used the extra hour to decorate\setup especially since it took 45 min to put away the extra chairs and tables from the party before ours. Parking is in the back of the venue and the day of the party we were told we could not use the back door so all the guest had to walk all the way around to the front door. When it came to food in my contract it said specifically we could heat food up but nothing could be cooked when we went to do this we were told we could not. To decorate we were not allowed to use any tape everything had to be hung with command hooks which we did know from the start but im trying to paint a vivid picture before you choose this place for your once in a lifetime event. Also we were instructed to take out all of our trash before we left which I guess is not included in the cleaning fee... for $780.00 this party should have been DRAMA FREE. At the end of the day its a beautiful venue but if I could do it all over again I would do it slmewhere else.

Firstly, the owner of the establishment Joanne only allowed 4 hours to set up a wedding and proceeded to insult the bride asking if she was going to have a "drunk fest" as she was setting up the bar. Secondly, the other owner Anne was very rude when it came time to leaving the establishment by screaming at everyone (ie, guests and the bride) AND EVEN GRABBED multiple MINORS by the arm while screaming "get out". She also grabbed multiple others by the arm. She allowed no clean up time but we were required to clean up the entire place, with limited cleaning utensils (they did not have a dustpan, but we were required to throwout all of the dirt and garbage on the floors) Anne constantly avoided the questions we had and referred us to er husband Red who was little to no help. I will never let anyone I know rent this place ever. This is a terrible banquet hall and the owners have no sense of customer service and they were not professional at all.

Don’t count anything before October 1, 2017... management change after that and it is simply wonderful lunch on Saturday, November 4 I had over 120 people celebrating my 80th birthday we had a rock ‘n’ roll party that was phenomenal Tracy who now runs the place was terrific. No problems ,.. they Just changed all the chairs we my granddaughter was in charge of the party and she could not of been happier with Tracy. Don’t fail to check this spot out...Especially if you want to put on the party yourself with outside food...You modern kitchen I can be utilized to warm food and keep it cool the only thing we found one thing we found that needed to be changed was there icemaker is too small. We hired a food truck that serviced on the patio. You won’t go wrong. Tracy will help make your gathering special.

I am at awe on how Ann almost purposely tries to ruin events. I was stunned how she told me to get a guest at a wedding to start taking out the first bag of trash when it was full. I asked her if we could wait to do this after second trash can was full so it could be done at the same time so that we could have all hands on deck preparing appetizers for the wedding. This was just the beginning of the issues.
Walking thru while we are serving the food telling us that it looks like we are using her stuff. I informed her we were not and then asked her to show me what she believed was hers and she walked away.
Then a half hour before our time was up she was yelling and pulling the brides underage daughter by the arm telling her and all other clean up crew to get out.
It was crazy. I am still stunned.

The WOMAN'S CLUB OF HOMESTEAD is such a lovely place to hold any type of event from a ladies LUNCHEON to an EVENING ELEGANT EVENT. The ladies that manage the club are so helpful and courteous ... sure do make you wanna come back. So happy to go there and it's so centrally located.
