This was my first visit, and I'll definitely be back! The food and atmosphere were both great, and the front counter service was amazing (thank you for your genuine kindness, Rudy). I'm excited to try more things on the menu. If you want something better than just any normal restaurant, definitely check this place out!

I dined in on a Sunday afternoon, and the place was pretty empty. My food came out quick. I got a Chicago dog and a chili cheese dog, which were both tasty. The fries were crispy and hot, but very bland. The women’s bathroom was clean.

I think I was expecting more so I was disappointed. First of all fries were not fresh. They were soft and cold. Chili hotdog was also cold that cheese remained intact and there was a funny taste which felt like one of the items’s expiry date was soon. The taste of hotdogs were okay. Germans say, for the price you can’t complain. But I am not German and I complain. This was not a 13$ item menu. For 13$ at least I deserve a hot plate.

The food is just ok. In fact, the best thing I ever ate from here was the Chicago Cheesesteak, which I did not finish because I found a chunk of metal in my food. Glad I didn’t break a tooth, and I will definitely not be back.

Edited to respond to the owner: I am truly sorry you’re upset that I posted about it. This has never happened to me before so I wasn’t aware there was a protocol. I am not sure what you’re implying in your reply, but based on your tone I’m glad I didn’t call or go in because it seems like it would have been confrontational instead of apologetic. Ngl I've been looking for a place like this for a while. The food was HIT fresh, delicious. Service was quick and kind. And the price point was just below average so I didn't have to offer any of my limbs for a lunch meal. Highly recommend.

So far everything I have had at WiseGuys has been excellent. I had the Italian beef the last time so this time I tried the meatball sandwich and the Chicago dog. The Chicago dog is what you would expect. Not a lot you can do to change that. Quality ingredients. The meatball sub was perfect. Four good size meatballs, sauce, a ton of mozzarella on a perfectly toasted bun. A lot of Chicago memorabilia around the restaurant. Good prices and good fountain soda. I like this place a lot.

Went back for the first time in a while and things have gotten worse. I got the meatball sub and it was not close to its former self. Awful, frozen meatballs. Very similar to Subways. Prices have increased quite a bit in 2 years as well. Adding a photo of the new meatball so others can see.

So I ordered from this place delivery, but the food sounded a lot better than it actually looks and tastes.

So i got Italian Stallion ,Godfather,Soprano,Pizza Fries. All sounded amazing, but for the detail, it was mediocre as a pizza. Fries were decent, but nothing truly unique. As well, the italian Stallion was good, but The soprano was just too much, Just with all the bread As there Wasn't too much chicken in That's sandwich, The godfather I had to eat the next day Because of all the breading and cheese as well sauces that I that I think needs a little more sauce to really help with The bread.

But the names and The Menu sounds neat, but I am not interested in Explorering the menu after my last order.

Very interesting place. Imaginative menu with lots of great choices for hungry people. I'm a hotdog fan and appreciate any efforts to supply my desires for more. My daughter enjoyed the cheese steak and I had a couple of traditional dogs.
