Just want to give Monica a shout out ! I called in the morning because I was upset about having issues with my medical assistance . I came off alittle strong but as a mom having issues with medical assistance can be frustrating , especially with her one year check up coming up . However , Monica respected how upset I was and made sure my voice was understood and heard . She went out of way her way to check my case thoroughly and make sure my case gets worked on right away . If you have any issues or need help please contact Monica because she really goes the extra mile when it comes to customer service . Thank you so much Monica and just the weld county team in general . I have called several times and they have been nothing but nice to me . Sometimes places like these get a bad rep but they have so much going on as well and deal with a lot on a daily basis . Thank you for your great service for weld county!

I’ve never written a review. But wow…. My experience here was terrible.
My first phone call was maybe two minutes. They asked me two questions “who lives in the house” “what do THEY make” after I relayed that info they immediately stated I was denied for MEDICAL benefits. I was shocked that being unmarried and unclaimed on taxes, etc. that I was immediately denied due to who I live with.

I called back confused and talked to someone else. I told her the previous lady didn’t take any of my income information and she stated that my info was input. She input someone else’s income for mine making me ineligible for medical benefits. I told her I work 15-20 hours a week and definitely do not exceed the minimum income requirements (that she had told me) for this program. Then this lady said “oh it’s not denied yet till we get your pay stubs then we’ll make a decision just upload it to your portal when you get your first paystub and then we’ll review”. I just received a letter in my portal that I was denied and case closed. I told her I get paid next week and everything will be uploaded. I didn’t even get a chance.

I don’t even know what to do. I’ve never felt so misunderstood, ignored, and pushed off…. I have chronic pain and meds that I have no idea how I’m going to pay for or where to go with no insurance.

I was here in Evans start date 1/6/24
It took me 7 months to the day to find a job because my job never transferred.
I have no clue what is wrong with Weld County Human Services.
I get $16 an hour and 21 hours a week if I'm lucky.
They still deny me food stamps and Medicaid.
I don't make $2,400.00 a month. If I'm lucky after taxes I make on 1 check $572.00.
On a great check, it's $792.00
If I work 2 extra shifts.
My knees can't handle it much.
I don't want to be in a wheelchair.
I get paid every 2 weeks.
This week I had to call in because I was moving.
So now I'm going to be short on my check.
I'll be lucky if I get $425.
This means I'm going to be short on rent to boot, which is $456.00 a week.
That doesn't even include that I have to buy food with cash.
But I can't do it this week I have to give everything to rent.
I guess I'll figure out how to eat for 2 weeks.
Then there's my medicine.
I guess I don't need that either.
Thanks for nothing Weld County Human Services.
I'm so tired of scraping by.
I can't even afford a doctor.
Let alone get to one.
I have to see a foot doctor because of my heel spurs, allergies, stomach problems, and my knees have been getting worse, not to mention that I have heat issues and heart problems.
But yeah I get it they need to help anyone else.
Colorado is so messed up.

I have called multiple times for a RENEWAL to be processed. These people are horrible. My family hasn’t had my snap for over a month and I’m being told that they have a lot of cases. It didn’t take this long when I opened the case. People need to do there job. If they are that far be hind they need to offer help to get people good food. Food banks have a lot of expired food and you don’t get enough to help a big family. I live and hour away from everything and have to stock up by the month. Theses people need to do their jobs and stop messing around.

Our EBT came late, and i need to complain. Technically this is not the place to complain but thats where its happening. The EBT for our county is always so mean and ridiculous. I am on my period, i am poor, and i am craving chocolate like nobody else. BUT I CANT BUY ANY BECAUSE OUR EBT IS LATE. Sleep with one eye open.🙂

My Medicaid and my childrens Medicaid has been pending for almost 3 months now. I have a daughter who is pregnant and has been needing her prenatal care. Another daughter who’s been in an accident and has multiple face fractures. I haven’t been able to give my children their proper care as needed due to no insurance, nor myself. This is really frustrating and stressful. I’ve sat on hold over the phone durning lunch hours, but can’t seem to get through to anyone. I am a single mother and cannot pay for these hospital bills out of pocket. my medical bills are starting to pile up. Please help!

These people play stupid no doubt. My family has been without medicade or food in the fridge or cabinets for months now and the food bank is all we know and half the time food is no good and expired.
I have been coming here for months trying to get help because I lost my job months ago and reported it to these people,I'm losing my apartment spending all my money on food for 3 kids and myself not to include gas commuting kids to and from school and work to the point my 1350 for rent is no longer there as a single Father of 3 kids for 6 years now and a car payment that I will soon be loosing as well if I do not get the EMERGENCY HELP MY family desperately needs before it's to late and I end up in the streets living in my car until it gets repo . These people keep postponing my applications every month on purpose to see if I just give up and quit trying all together and that is really evil especially after the loss of my job.
I know for a fact that if I was a single mother with kids I'm sure they would do anything in their power to help her out primarily over a male single father any day. I turned in all paper work needed and they keep losing it or act is if they need more info when everything has been provided when multiple times and they keep coming up with more information required when there is nothing else to provide to them.
I know these people hate their jobs because if you look online of people who have a review of having worked here is all negative especially when they start posting about the work overload and just negative reviews of working here but that should not effect my families needs, and they still need to do their jobs correctly.
Months without food for my kids and them playing stupid is plane out evil.
If I can't come up with something fast I will lose my kids to their mothers and have visits from child protective services due to my fridge conditions and children's medical needs as well and that is not ok setting someone up for failure!
Americans Should Come First before any of these foreign people period, instead we are on the back burner while they receive our government benefits and assistance as JBS beef company provides them with months of free hotel rooms with full service breakfast coffee and swimming pools to top it off.
This is disgusting as can get!!!
As a tax payer and a Greeley native born here in weld county and lived here my whole life I believe I should at least have answers or a response on why my family has to put medical and dental/dental visits on hold due to no medicade. what's going on and why this is happening to my family while they sit back and go home to a nice place with a fridge full of food and I'm sure medical benefits through the government job they hold as we pay tax about to go homeless and lose the family.
This is sad.
