The laugh a minute knuckleheads crack me up. Mayor with zero Self-Awareness. J opened the door to the henhouse and now yells Fox in the henhouse. Lets make J Mayor, so they did. Tif says y'all don't know Roberts rules while she stomps on the rules. Edward Steve is the ONLY person who belongs in that seat. My daily prayers include Mr. Steve, may God bless him. A real time hero!

Mayor is bringing criminals to Dolton “her second chance city program” meanwhile my murder scene home still sits vacate after 7 months and boarded up. No return phone calls from mayor. No water bills provided to insurance team after 2 months of requesting. Police turned my heat off and pipes froze and they block my access into house for 6 months. Now they want me to pay a 1,600 water bill. Refused to turn off the water when requested after pipes busted from being frozen. They do nothing to help you let alone provide basis services. Mayor chief of staff already has resigned.

I have lived in the Dolton area since 2014, and I can say that it is what it is. They can do better, and they can offer to clean up the areas, and enforce things that should be enforced. With that being said, this New Mayor claims to be a peoples Mayor, but I didn't see any action take place until they mentioned they wanted to vote her out. I don't agree with our city being a 2nd chance city with them having access to our homes. Maybe doing some of the outside work, and clean up effort that they are trying to do. In Addition, I have been complaining about trash in back of my house, lights and closes my street off from speeding cars and nothing has been done. So we shall see what happens next.

So theirs 2 pot holes on my block even had the str cleaner report it 2 months ago the str cleaner said his truck almost tipped over wow most of the streets are bummpy hello public works are you there to patch this hole for residents, because we can see thru the hole looks like a cave inside no telling what’s in there

I just left the payment center at 3pm and had the most unpleasant customer service ever as a new resident of dolton. As explained to the African American female with sandy brown/blonde hair, i needed to get a vehicle sticker, she’s stated i needed to pay $40. I asked if i could pay for the year and she yelled at me with an attitude “YOURE LATE”. I had No clue what she was talking about, as she continued “YOURE LATE, ALL RESIDENTS MUST BUT ANNUAL STICKERS IN JUNE, YOU CANT BUY ONE NOW FOR THE YEAR YOU HAVE TO WAIT”. I guess the look on my face and my decision to stop making eye contact with her and began to Be short with her made her aware of her unprofessionalism to a new resident that is unaware of sticker purchasing. She knew I was a new resident because I had also come in to find out if the water was placed in my name after purchasing my new home. Please have someone address this with her for future interactions with NEW and CURRENT residents.

In other good news, the elder gentleman at was sitting at the information desk today around that time was extremely helpful, and welcoming. I appreciate his knowledge of what i should do, where i should go and directing me to the city website for more information.

I've been trying to get someone from the Village to come out and cut down the weeds that are growing in the front and back yard of the abandoned house next door to me at 15210 Evers St in Dolton to no avai since April. All they say is "I'll put your name on the list." Those weeds in the backyard are attracting rats.
