I applied as soon as the website opened mind you I'm a single mom with a turn off notice my gross income is $1200.00 a month. I recieved an email saying I didn't qualify. I know people who are in better shape than I am who didn't even apply that recieved money off their bill. It's crazy how no one over sees the money to these non profits

I applied for help on 7/1 /2025 they called me back stated they did not have no funds and to apply some place else .I think they are stealing the grant money

I have been trying to get in contact with this organization for over a year. Their agent Emily Elkins completely stopped talking to me when I was trying to complete my rental assistance application. It's been a year now and I've been trying to contact them by phone, by email, and even in person. They will not speak to anyone. They will not answer their phones. They will not answer their emails. When you go to their building in person in Montgomery Park Business center, they literally tell the front desk to tell people that just call 211. They want people to call that number but they won't answer phone calls or respond to messages. Because of this I'm on the verge of game kicked out of my apartment with nowhere to go while I'm struggling to pay off my debts. This organization just does not seem trustworthy for the simple fact that they just don't want to talk to people. So pretty much you're on your own if you are struggling with anything in regards to rent for utilities. The only thing you can do is find someone who you can rely on on a personal level. Don't worry about trying to get help from these organizations. They clearly don't want to help you.

My landlord helped me apply with the STEP program in 2021, and it was a blessing indisguise. This is a great program if your landlord is a participant.
