We started attending a year ago and while we're not typical church people, felt this place was the totally casual, low-key place we were looking for. Everyone has been super friendly and I personally appreciate how open, tolerant and welcoming they are. If you're looking for a typical church experience with lots of bible talk, this isn't the church for you. But if you want a liberal, inclusive place that welcomes everyone, then give it a try!

This church is very welcoming to all. They challenge and inspire the congregation every week. They are very involved in the community and social action. The religious education program taught my kids about ethics and world religions. I love it!

Becoming a part of this UU community offers spirit when I am low, engagement when I feel alone and a cohort of justice seekers to help me focus on the important stuff. The messages and music on Sunday are often powerful encouragement to work and play and live better.

Visited this place for the first time today and found it to be a very welcoming community, almost disconcertingly so (but not in a bad way). At the same time, no one backs you into a corner in an attempt to permanently "recruit" you (which, if you're anything like me, is an extremely off-putting aspect of some churches—or any religious organization, really). The commitment to social justice (you know, like what Jesus cared about?) is something that has always attracted me about the UU denomination and I found that to be on open display both literally with the postings and literature made available in the lobby as well as in the pastor's sermon which I just barely made it in time for (I snuck in late). A positive, pleasant first experience. I do think I will be returning. And if you're reading this contemplating a first visit, maybe next time I will be one of the people to warmly welcome you....
