I applied for my benefits in March. TWC said I was eligible for unemployment and I could start requesting payments.

I have been requesting payments for 10 WEEKS+

Every time I request a payment it is pushed forward and says I have to wait to request payment until the next pay period.
Every time I call the phone it is hung up on me.
Every time I go to the unemployment office the security guards tells me "they will call you."
Every time I file an appeal online nothing happens.

I have done everything in my power to ask for help, and TWC has failed every single time.

If anyone else has had legitimate problems that can be supported with evidence for legal counsel to actively pursue a case I encourage you to do so.

No one ever answers the phone because all calls are made to go virtual. These guys are helping no one and thinking they are doing us a service by giving half the unemployment funds. They said they are putting 1500 people on the phones this week. That was a huge lie I still can not get in-contact with anyone even through email. I have been waiting over 4 weeks with no responses. The state was happy that unemployment dropped 13 percent from last week.....duh because they gave up on you guys and this county itself. No one is at work unless they are to the bare minimum checking emails from each other and never the public

One of the employees asked what kind of car I had and started laughing when I told them. When I informed another employee of this, they laughed too. I hope you both get slapped really hard in the face. Why is owning a Jeep funny and why are employees allowed to act high and harass us? I reported all this to a higher up and nothing has been done and nobody has responded to me. Truly disgusting

I applied for unemployment benefits in early April, got approved, got one payment, then got a series of statements denying me benefits, which I appealed in early May. I’ve heard absolutely nothing about my appeals since. It’s been over a month now, and I got yet ANOTHER request for overpayment, yet nothing for the appeals. This is ridiculous!

If I could give you no stars I would.
Y’all make it extremely difficult to speak to someone and by the time we do that person is drained and in a bad mood and doesn’t want to give us the proper help that we need and deserve. I’ve been hung up on, put on hold without being asked and repeatedly told that it’s impossible to get through to a representative and to call another day ONLY to get told the exact same thing over and over again. This is how TWC handles things? These are the people you have representing your company and to provide us the so called “Amazing” service you claim to be giving everyone? I understand with the pandemic and everything that y’all MIGHT be working yalls tails off, but that doesn’t not excuse the fact at how horrible your agents handle each individual claim. Completely ridiculous.

I have lost count of how many people I have talked to and how many different answers I have gotten. And none of those answers have helped me. When you ask to be transferred to a "TWC" specialist they say they are unable to do that - in the past I have been transferred (was on hold for 3 hours) but now the screeners who answer the phone seem incapable of transferring to the specialist. I am glad I have a husband and I am not totally without funds to survive. Sad situation at best.

A bunch of unethical crooks and that are here to matters worse than whatever situation your in. The workers don’t even have the proper rules to succeed. They’ll give you an appeal just to already have the decision before the appeal.

Started calling at 11am today and called a total of 36 times and wasn’t able to get ahold of anyone. Terrible service, it seems like everytime I actually get ahold of someone they tell me different/new info every time. I hate this place, words cannot express the frustration I’ve had getting services I pay taxes for. Shouldn’t be like this.
