Have been a TMPA member a very long time. They have always provided the best legal defense plan and other benefits in the state of Texas.

What an awesome job everyone does at TMPA - a great organization to be a part of.
I especially have to give a special thanks to John Sierega - he has been so instrumental in offering his expertise, and great information on my beloved Fallen Officer' benefits.
Which I had no idea where to turn but John certainly did go above and beyond to assist me and gave me all the information I needed! He was a God sent! Great people at TMPA!

I've paid for TMPA for YEARS just to find out I was covered under my husband's policy the entire time as long as I have my LTC. And yes, before anyone asks...they were aware we BOTH had TMPA, and no one ever mentioned this. It just seems extremely dishonest.

It's unfortunate that after my husband paid his monthly membership payment and after he not only put his life on the line as an officer and sacrificed his own life for this country, that this union chooses to not assist him when he is wrongfully terminated. Instead, he is told to seek another lawyer on our own dime and nickel. To add insult to injury, the representative still has the audacity to tell my husband he can suspend his membership until he finds another agency. There should be an option for negative stars because this police union deserves it. Quick to collect money and quick to turn you away when you are in need. My opinion for those seeking a union, look elsewhere but do not waste your money here.

Do not help officers at all. Don't waste your money they are quick to take your money and just as quick to tell you they can't help you my daughter was terminated for being pregnant and they said we can't help you but they dam sure took her money
