My husband and I needed question answered in Elko office. The woman was disrespectful and treated us poorly. It was as if we were disrupting her day. She has no idea how to treat people and she should not work in a public office if she can't be nice. Trying to navigate social security is hard enough and then add a nasty person to the mix makes it horrible. We will be making an official complaint to social security.

Reno office stated they never heard of having to call them for an appointment & stated just go & wait in line in elko to be seen. For sometime now elko office security guard lets no one in without a scheduled appointment from 800# to Reno as there’s no Local number. That means people are going to travel hours for an appointment just to be refused service. Bank information done online states a 3 month wait or one can go in person with Ann appointment scheduled after repeatedly being hung up on and waiting for hours. 😑

Rudest woman ever that works at Elko office! Been there several times since April and each time the woman won’t greet you, addresses you with what do you want instead of asking how she can help,won’t answer questions, won’t allow you to talk, wrongly accuses you of things,shames you and treats you as you are beneath her and you work for her. We are retired and don’t deserve this treatment. No one does.

The security guard is completely rude get asked a question about setting appointments she gives straight attitude saying be thankful you aren't in reno or Vegas stop complaining

They need change the hours. Maybe start later around12 and end later into the evening so people after work can get the opportunity to see them. No point starting at 9 when most folks are working.
