I was under the impression these guys only cared about DUI's..then I found one guarding the post office intersection right before lunch. Make sure you come to a complete stop. It's a very dangerous intersection. His car is facing a open field with no one there. Bored and useless

This horrible woman should be demoted. Has no business enforcing the law or protecting the constitution which she swore an oath to do. Officers like this is what’s causing people to not trust law enforcement. Shame on you

As a British born Citizen, after watching the lengthy video exposing this department in an audit, I'm appalled by the way they speak to and treat members of the public: violating constitutionally protected activities and speaking down to law abiding members of the public. Completely misinformed and all officers in the department need training immediately.

Viral video shows how uneducated this police department is and how much they violate people’s constitutional rights. Unbelievable that it cost the tax payers $9,500. Hopefully this is handled correctly and the people in the video are relieved from duty. Truly terrifying. Imagine if he didn’t get it on film. Only makes you wonder how many other peoples right have been violated by this department and hopefully an investigation is being opened. Do better PD.

Absolutely sick to my stomach seeing that Sargent abuse her power and violate Jason’s rights. She should have to publicly apology if she wants to continue to work as a law enforcement officer. Never visiting this city out of fear that my rights as a US citizen will be unlawfully violated. Tyrants.

Police chief Minor had this to say about citizens rights “Let me put it this way, we have better things to do with our time.”
You must uphold the law of law abiding citizens. Not caring for someone's rights is absurd. Down right criminal. I'm glad my sheriff's department in Florida upholds the law, rather than some awful cops giving a terrible representation of how cops handle situations. Please do yourself a favor and actually care about people's rights. Educate your police officers.

The incompetence of the Silverthorne Police Department leaves me dumbfounded.
It all starts at the top from chief of police Minor and filters down through the ranks.
They have no interest in protecting my constitutional rights. These police don’t know the law and they act based on feelings instead of constitutionally protected rights of United States citizens.
Time to clean house!
