Ride Assist Naperville is an awesome organization to volunteer with! I’ve volunteered as a driver with them for over three years and have had nothing but good experiences. The app makes it super easy to sign up for rides. I can easily choose when, where and how often I drive as well as being able to choose who I drive. I feel good about providing the service to a group of people who really need it and appreciate it. An added bonus is hearing the life stories of some pretty interesting seniors! I highly recommend RAN if you’re looking to volunteer with a group that makes a positive difference in the local community.

Ride Assist Naperville (RAN) is an amazing service. I've been a volunteer driver for them for almost 3 years. The service RAN provides is so needed and very much appreciated by the riders. We don't just drop riders off at the curb. We make sure they get into the doctors office and be ready to take them home when done. The loss of being able transport yourself to a needed doctors appointment is far greater than most people realize and RAN helps to ease that loss.. Every rider I've had has been so grateful for RAN and I'm very proud to be a part of it.

I have volunteered for many organizations and RAN (Rider Assist Naperville) ranks as one of the best. They train the volunteers how to treat the people over 65. They communicate well to both clients and volunteers. It is easy for the volunteer or client to choose the rides that they will take with the user friendly system that RAN uses.

I've been driving for RAN for the past three years, and it's been a rewarding experience for both me and my riders. They always gush their "thank yous" but I know that I get as much out of it as they do! It keeps me busy in the dreary winter months, and I get out of the house to meet new people too. I control my own time, the software for arranging rides is very easy to use, and the support staff are nothing but positive.

As a volunteer driver I enjoy talking with the ride clients. They are uniformly appreciative for the RAN service compared to a taxi or PACE.
The on-line sign-up system works well and lets me pick trips to fit my schedule.
