The first week of September 2024 I had a routine checkup and cleaning, which I do every 4 months instead every 6 months. Dr. Paul Thompson always asked me if anything was wrong, problems. My answer is No. I'm okay. Dr. Paul Thompson always brought up my Molar #14 if it bothers me. My answer is nope. It doesn't bother me at all. Dr. Thompson well you have a big filling and you should have a crown. My answer Dr. I had Molar #15 and had a big filling, but when I did the work 12 years the tooth got infected and then extraction. So I'm okay. Dr. Thompson. this one will not be like that. I asked again. Are you sure? He said it would not happen and give you a problem. I said okay. He did the work and a week passed the tooth started to bother me. Dr. Thompson responded and asked me to come in so he can take a look. Dr. Thompson made some adjustments then he said your Crown should be here in 2 weeks. A week passed again I started experiencing pain. I called he sent me to an Oral Surgeon the Oral surgeon said let's wait do not put the permanent Crown on. A week passed I called again and Dr. Thompson said I'll send you to another Oral surgeon and
I went and he said I had swelling and
It will take time then I should be okay. A week passed and I called again experiencing pain. Dr. Thompson suggested a TMJ Doctor and I said Dr. Thompson how come before you worked on the tooth I didn't have any of these problems? So 9 weeks passed I called a different Dentist and they took x-rays and
Immediately they said I had an infection in Molar #14 and it affected my Molar #18 and also my Molar #19 which I had an implant. I went to see him and Dr. Thompson always found an excuse he was busy with a patient. I called again and I texted him oh, I also emailed him, and he never responded to me. Now after all this, it is going to cost me a fortune for Surgery and extracting 3 teeth and an implant. Dr. Thompson should not practice dentistry. I am telling you all this from my couch at home because I have an infection and am not able to work. Thanks to Dr. Kenneth Ho for putting me on medication. Be aware!

I worked for a dentist in Northridge for 40 years and retired a few years ago. I live in La Canada so wanted to find a practice close to home. Needless to say I was very picky in my search. Cleanliness, friendly staff, the doctor and even the music and atmosphere was more than met here. He is kind gentle and most importantly not aggressive in his treatment.?
His staff has been with him a long time(which says a lot about him) and his sister is the hygienist, who is very gentle but thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Paul Thompson!! Granddaughter (3) just saw him and she LOVED the whole experience too
