This is a wonderful church. It is one of houston oldest churches. Great people here lead by Rev. Armstrong, who is pastor. His strength is good great conversationalist if you hold the opinion to center of the discussion at hand. This church was home to Fr. Chester Ball. A great leader of people and a man who wipped me literary into shape. Let it be known I was a mischievous student in those days. If you want good advice a great community of honor respect and enduring relationship with God as a catholic or any persuasion of religion it is as we all call it OMMC OUR MOTHER OF MERCY CHURCH. I was an alter boy here for some time in my youth.

went for 2 funeral 2 weekends apart. Service was good. Didn't care for the separation, acknowledged by priest, for the partaking of the supper.
Its an old facility and need done upgrades to pews(gum, stains), painting, etc

Each year the second Sunday. Jamming & getting down with the, Zydeco Buzzard., with food, Game Zydeco T-shirt, & a lot more .DJ & 1-2 bands. So come no down the band haven't started yet. Right Here N the heart of 5th Ward.
