Rude woman who runs the place! Left there crying. She shows no compassion! This was years ago! Never went back!

This was my first time going here and I was already ashamed to need the help. The lady that runs this so was rude to me and made me feel humiliated for coming there for help. All they offered me was rotted fruit and stale bread. Everything I received went bad within 1-3 days of receiving it or was already rotted when they gave it to me. They had a huge pantry of shelf stable items which they did not offer any of it to me-only gave me rotted fruit, bread and cake. I used to work at one of the largest food pantries in Macomb county and we always filtered out the rotted food and only offered quality items.
Needless to say, I will not be returning to this pantry. It was not helpful and was a very bad experience.

The lady who took my call needs to be fired immediately. That is not how you conduct business. Her name was Francis. She was very rude, very defensive and flat out told me unless i live in Lenox she couldn't help me. She gave me a panic attack. This place is supposed to help people not make them feel small and like they are bothering.

The lady that manages/works there is a very dedicated and hard worker. She does the best she can do with the donations that the pantry receives. Some times it's a lot and sometimes it's very little. People that complain do not realize how difficult is can be to try and satisfy everyone. She has to make sure there is enough food given out to ALL that show up. She truly is a Blessing to those in need!

Called to ask if i needed to sign up for the food boxes or if there were any stipulations to receiving food. The lady who answered was very rude and asked if " I realized I was calling from Michigan " and then hung up on me when I asked her she meant by that, obviously I knew the pantry was from Mi and I live in New Baltimore, less than 15 min away. Very rude for someone working in public service.

I showed up seeking help for my daughter and her family. Fran was amazing. She gave me the details of what she needed to do.....all is well now; they are getting much needed help. Fran is our Angel.

Iam ashamed. I had open heart surgery. Force to stop working
The shelves are full of items. And we only allowed pastry and and smashed produce. 2 lanes only. No poultry. Meat. Thats it 1 cake 8 pastry old produce. For whom. Is what s in the shelves. If your diabetic your out of luck.

This place is the best I’ve ever been to. They were soo nice and had a huge variety of foods and let you pick what you want. I’m so grateful to them, my kids loved all the good food.Thank y’all and may GOD BLESS YOU!❤️
