We spent an enjoyable afternoon at the museum. Wonderful location, interesting displays, and knowledgable staff. The new Homesteads Coleman Family Exhibit 3rd in the Family Legacy Series had more information than we could have hoped for!
There was an informative spinning demonstration on an 1800's spinning wheel the day we visited.
We also purchased two copies of the new Coleman Book.
We were very impressed with the content and massive size of this publication!
There is currently a quilt raffel 3/$5, we had to get a few tickets!

This small museum was told to mainly be about logging but has family, education and other historical notes. The train depot on site was interesting but was not quite fully accessible. Great place to visit if you are traveling Hwy 12.

It was the best small-town museum I have went because it met all the standards as a city museum would. There were no grammar mistakes, and the words were typed up onto professional plaques. It was very nice and tidy. Not dusty. Though I wish they would not turn on the music randomly and loud and just be quiet because it is a museum and the volunteer was trying too hard to make it look cool. Paintings are amazing.
