Out of curiosity, I looked up mccag.org and was fascinated to learn that it is a special kind of church—one that I have never seen before in Taiwan. My family enjoys religious freedom, and while my son attends Sunday school at a nearby church, the rest of us are not religiously affiliated.

It’s inspiring to learn more about Christian communities around the world. One day, I hope my son can visit the Mechanicsville Christian Center and experience worship in the U.S., further enriching his understanding and appreciation of the world.

Our family absolutely loves this church! We look forward to going each week and even our kids are disappointed if we miss.

Definitely a more modern church with a full band and messages that apply to life today. Not a church if you want a more traditional setting with hymns. BUT plenty of readings from the Bible and worship that will have you praising him for the rest of your day!

This is REALLY a "come as you are church"
Everyone was so friendly and loving. They make you feel welcome. The music is heartfelt and downright good. Pastor Matt Hoole really explains the scriptures so well. I have learned more about the Bible now, than I have my entire life. This Church fills you with God's love. Wonderful experience.

This month we are having Sunday at the Movies. It's really exciting to see parts of a movie and equate them to scriptures. The church is a creative and inspiring place. There are many activities for children and adults. It is very active in the community and missions. Every time I attend a worship service, I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit.

People will call me crazy for giving it only four stars, but I have my reasons. Sure, it may be a nice building, and the pastors are very knowledgeable and passionate (especially Pastor Hoole, great man), but I feel that the atmosphere is cramped in a way. Yes, having a large amount of people in church is ideal, but sometimes not having a packed house makes you feel like you have space, makes you feel comfortable; that is what most people want out of a church, not to be cramped by everyone there, but to feel at home, and to have some room. If anyone disagrees, I'm sorry you feel that way.
