Workers don't know what they are doing, constantly giving wrong information and will waste your time/money with out a care in the world. Worst state workers I've had the displeasure of dealing with. Would give 0 starts if possible.

Department of Human Services is great. They take care of business. They care and do their best. It's a life savior to have someone to turn to like human services to help you in a time of need, because nothing is owed to a person, but their help is the best.

HORRIBLE SERVICE. FEW ACTUALLY PUTTING EFFORT FOURTH TO DO THEIR JOB!!! Im Unemployed, with an autistic child I have to take everywhere I go trying to reverify for foodstamps before its cut off and no gas money to drive to the building, when I call and hit 0 for operator, it instantly hangs up!!! You can't talk to a LIVE PERSON to submit your proofs and are expected to to lay it all out for them. I need the help!! Not to do your jobs for free!!!

They send out paperwork snail mail, give you 10 days for a deadline and don’t take into account that there is a holiday in there. Letter dated May 21 due May 31. I didn’t get it till Friday 24 at 4pm. Tried calling can’t get an answer. Faxed paperwork to son’s employer to fill out. They wouldn’t have gotten it at earliest till Tuesday. The web site said 7 days for employment verification. I was on hold for over 40 min yesterday to see if they had received it. They said nothing was scanned in. I asked to speak with case worker. Said she would give her the message that I was working on it and she would SEE is caseworker would give me an extension! I asked for a phone call back never got one. I asked for caseworker email. She told me they don’t like using email because if caseworker leaves they have no access to that information! Really. How’s this for a solution, give them an unchangeable password. Problem solved. I like email gives me a paper trail and time stamp. It’s my tax money that supports this and it is a GOVERNMENTAL OFFICE!

Very rude caseworker when I asked a question about unemployment and filing a claim. I was told I was going to be called and told I was going to be assisted. after waiting 30 mintues of my time and by the time i got a case workers attention they told me I was late, very rude tones these people have just for asking a simple question

Horrible communication, almost impossible to speak to an actual human that will follow thru with what you call about. Multiple phone calls to get an issue taken care, multiple "promises" to correct but never done, then passes the blame onto someone else at their agency. No one is accountable for their job. Im an employer, not even a client so I can imagine what it's like for those that need assistance. Horrible, horrible service.
