Cps is a joke in mathews va they let female live alone not work and fail for meth past six months they do nothing for molestation unless small.child can speak with no parents. They don't have enough workers to provide supervised visits!! But the case workers like hunley and Stuart are top notch! The receptionists and office workers are Amazing!

I drive down to Mathews Social Services (20 minute drive from my home). I stand at the front desk window and WAIT while the front desk person decides to quit looking at her phone. Never greets me, never smiles. Simply says can I help you. I tell her what I need and she states that the woman who can help me is at lunch and doesn't really know what time she'll be back. Asked if I wanted her to call me. Don't you think if I wanted to speak with someone over the phone I would have just called myself in the first place, and saved myself the time of getting ready, the time involved in driving back and forth, the waste of gas? There is no one who oversees employees lunch breaks? If this is an example of how our tax dollars are being spent, this causes me great concern.

Could not have been happier with the reception and the courteous of the employees or was extremely satisfied anyone that has any problems I would highly recommend you go see them and they will take care of it Mr Bentley was extremely nice have a good
