We were traveling north up 95 and spent the night at the Lazy Bear ranch. What a an unexpected treat! This 200 acre ranch had beautiful new rooms with great bedding and fluffy towels. We liked that there were no TVs in the room, but beautiful photographs of different areas on the ranch.

After meeting Tim, we took a hour-long stroll to the lake on the property, and saw heron, egret, deer, and a variety of birds. Beautiful sunset walk. Looks like a great wedding venue, which even had a large bridal dressing / prep room like nothing we had ever seen before. Highly recommended for a night or a longer stay.

Lazy Bear Ranch is a gem! We stayed here while in Idaho for a work trip. It felt like we were on vacation. The rooms were comfortable. The property was beautiful! Catering by Keith was so delicious and Tim was the perfect host! Definitely hope to visit Lazy Bear Ranch again.

Never don’t stop at fantastic Lazy Bear Ranch! The rooms are sparkling clean, the beds are so comfy you’ll sleep peacefully all night long and wake up raring to go in the morning. Ask Tim, the very best host, where to have a great breakfast and he’ll help you out. A++ to Lazy Bear Ranch!!

Lazy Bear Ranch is a slice of heaven. Our group was visiting on a work project, but the folks at Lazy Bear made it feel like a vacation. Wonderful hospitality in beautiful country. I can only imagine how great a private event or a hunting weekend with friends would be at Lazy Bear. Highly recommend!

Stopping in and staying at the Lazy Bear Ranch was an absolute delight. The property is stunning, the rooms are cozy and inviting, and the outdoor fireplace and seating is such a warm relaxing touch. The overall experience made it feel like a true getaway.

We recently stayed at Lazy Bear Ranch for a work trip, and it ended up being the highlight of our travels. With limited lodging options near Cambridge, our team had originally booked rooms at a chain hotel in Ontario—but after my first call with the owner, Tim Wrightman, I knew staying there would be a treat.

Tim was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to accommodate us. He and his chef, Keith, helped us host a delicious client dinner on our first night, and Tim opened the bar for us each evening and even started a fire one night. Both our crew and our client were thrilled with the experience.

The peaceful, remote setting and cozy accommodations provided the perfect backdrop for a restful night’s sleep after long workdays. I’d absolutely recommend Lazy Bear Ranch to anyone visiting the area—or anyone simply looking for a special place to unwind for a few nights.

What an amazing spot. We just wrapped up an awesome two day pheasant hunt at Lazy Bear Ranch. The birds and hunting dogs were fantastic. Tim Wrightman and his team were great. The food that Keith cooked was delicious. The ranch and rooms/suites were 1st class.

My husband & I couldn’t be more happy with our wedding at Lazy Bear Ranch. The venue is absolutely beautiful & worth every penny. Tim, the owner, was great to work with. Nicole, our coordinator, was an absolute DREAM. I never had to stress about a thing. She was always 10 steps ahead & was there for me within seconds if I ever needed anything. I don’t know what I would have done without her that day.

If you want a gorgeous venue along with the best support, I recommend booking here!! If I could go back in time, I’d book here again.
