Bought here 3 years ago and love Lakemoore! Our community backs up to the Blue Hereon Nature Preserve, so has been great for walking my dogs and is a very quiet neighborhood. Super safe community with beautifultrees and landscaping and fosters avid walking. It's truly a hidden gem in Buckhead. We had a change to our HOA board a year ago and the improvements around the neighborhood have been amazing. Lots of great stores, restaurants and shopping in the area. Looking forward to enjoying several years in this community!

Great community to live in; bought a spacious townhouse in this community some years ago and absolutely love it. We have had a lot of great changes to our HOA and it is awesome. We are backed right up to the Blue Heron Nature Preserve so it's like a surburan enclave with mature natural surroundings set right in the heart of North Buckhead. You can see deer on the nature trail, large turtles, hares, and of course blue herons. Super convenient area, close to the shops of Buckhead, Phipps Plaza, 10 mins from downtown and about 20 mins from Hartsfield.

I have lived at Lakemoore for over 3 years and absolutely love it. There will always be an eclectic group of people when choosing to live in a communal environment, but that's part of what makes it interesting! There have been many changes to the management recently and I think things can only be more positive going forward. Either way you look at it, this is a fantastic location within walking distance to the 400 Path (beltline of Buckhead), Chastain Park, great schools, many restaurants and shopping options. We are also partially surrounded by the beautiful Blue Heron Nature Preserve and have a unique advantage in that the land will never be developed. These units remain on the far more affordable side of living options in the area as well. There are challenges regarding the age of this community in reference to maintenance and being able to grow with the times, but I believe the people that volunteer their time to work on the board have good intentions.

Don’t make the same mistake I did by moving here. Be warned if you are moving here - the HOA is horrible and is way behind the times. You will pay hundreds of dollars to have 0 privacy and 0 freedom. Your children will get in trouble for trying to play in the parking lot, you will get fined for parking in front of your unit for 30 minutes, if you’re a young person you will likely get fined for noise violations. Absolutely ridiculous rules, constant fines and looking for reasons to make you pay them more money.

Terrible people run this organization, with a few exceptions. I have never gotten so many stickers for ‘illegally parking’ in the place that I pay over $350 a month to live in. It’s just sad how poorly this is HOA is run and I will likely move away because of this sole reason. Several people have moved away because of the HOA. Change needs to take place.
