We adopted our new family member from HSOV and we could not be happier. Beta has already become comfortable with us and seems to be a very happy girl. We met her a week before we were able to adopt (we currently live on the other side of the state) they held her for us and gave us a collar and a box of food to help us and her tummy with our switch to her new food. We love Beta and are happy we could be her forever family! 3 months in and Beta is the best addition to our family!!! Everyone she meets loves her and she is living her best life!

Employees despise the dependent creatures more than their jobs, and they’re seemingly proud of it. Truly discouraging that so many animals could be getting help if it weren’t for the overtly passive aggressive attitude of literally every single staff member at this facility.

I gave it one star because the people were nice. With that being saidthis facility is horrendous. I felt sorry for every animal in there. I felt like they were all in prison. The stench in there was horrendous. The living conditions were deplorable and the noise was deafening. They were so over crowded they actually housed a dog in the bathroom because there was no more room. Out beside the front entrance was a dustpan piled with dog poop. I called the ASPCA and they informed me that there are several complains about this facility. This place needs to be tore down and a bigger one be built. Much closer to town or easier access to the facility. All of the animals deserve so much better.

The adoption process was simple. Caring about the animals is up to you. You know that the staff there really care about the work their doing. The facility is very clean, as well as the animals. Our Humane Society definitely has my support.

The staff was great! Animals are well taken care of. The communication between meet and greet and picking up Molly was outstanding. I now have my new family member and couldn't be happier. Thanks guys!

I was pleasantly greated by a nice woman at her desk by the enterence.
I told her what I was there for, and she escorted me to the room to see all the available pets.
Opening several cages and bringing out each pet for me to see and pet.
Unfortunately I couldn't adopt that day, as I knew I may be moving to a new home, and didn't want to disrupt any animals by rehoming 2 times in a short period of time.
I definitely will return.
