When my mom got sick last year, it was a very scary time for my brothers and I. Once she was released from the hospital in Southern Illinois and Indiana, we wanted her to have her rehab and future living situation nearer to us. She was in the Arc at Dwight for 3 months for rehab. During that time, my brother and I toured multiple assisted living facilities. When we entered Heritage Woods of Dwight, we were drawn to the welcoming nature of everyone there. Jason was amazing with giving us all the information we needed and answering all of our questions. We then brought our mom to tour a few of our final choices. When she came to Heritage Woods of Dwight, she instantly said-I like this one the best. She moved here in September of 2024 and Cassie was awesome in helping with the transition.
My mom definitely had an adjustment period to acclimate herself to this new way of living. All of the staff was awesome in helping her find her footing. Now, my mom loves it there. She is involved in committees, participating in activities and is making many new friends. I highly recommend Heritage Woods of Dwight to anyone looking for an affordable and welcoming facility for your loved ones. We all have peace of mind knowing she is somewhere safe that she feels comfortable being in.

We have been very pleased with our experience at Heritage Woods in Dwight! It is such a hard time in anyone’s life when you need to have help. Our family member has been treated with kindness and compassion as they navigate this hard transition. The staff is kind and attentive and they go the extra mile. There are many fun activities provided that keep the residents engaged, which is of the upmost importance. They also have many extra services for the residents that are so valuable such as the Inspire program. The food is delicious and they have a large menu of choices served restaurant style. We love how modern, clean, and neat the building is and her apartment is just lovely. She has made new friends and still is able to host her other friends when they come to visit. We have been treated kindly and professionally by all and are grateful that a place such as this is available for our loved one.

Heritage Woods has been a great home for my parents! They were welcomed to Heritage Woods back in February ‘23 which has given my siblings and I great peace of mind. We love knowing our parents always have someone to help them when they need it.
My parents and I personally love the meals at Heritage woods! Whenever I visit them I like dining with my parents in their beautiful dining room and enjoy the terrific menu.
My parents have made some great friends at Heritage Woods that they love visiting with in the dining room at meals and during activities. It is also so great that Heritage Woods has events that they invite the local community and family members of residents to. My parents have lots of fun with their grandkids at these events.
I would recommend you visit Heritage Woods!

All the employees at Heritage Woods in Dwight have be incredible. They welcomed my father like he has been in the family for years. I seen an immediate “pep in his step” after he moved in. They have lots of activities, snacks, 3 meals a day, amongst other good things to keep him moving. The therapists and the nurses are very good and all have time to spend with their residents. I was a little nervous about moving him in, but now there is zero doubt that he is in the right place. He now has other people like him that he can socialize with. This place is clean, modern, and full of good people. The best thing of all is, he loves it.

After touring many assistant living facilities for my Mom I chose Heritage Woods of Dwight. Even though the place is absolutely gorgeous, clean, good food, nice residents and staff and close to me my deciding factor was Cassie. I've never met a kinder soul! I had a friend bring my Mom from 6 hrs away while myself and some friends stayed behind to pack up the uhaul. Cassie knew everything my Mom and I were going through which was a very stressful situation especially sending my Mom with someone else. She went totally above what my expectations were to help and made it an easy transition for my Mom. I made so many calls to her and felt bad for doing that to her but she always answered right away and had an answer right away to every question and was always so polite and caring. People like her are very rare and I hope everyone appreciates her as much as my Mom and I do. She definitely deserves a raise and a nice vacation for all she does

This was a very scary and upsetting time for myself and my family. I was questioning everything. Cassie was wonderful, she gave us detailed and accurate information that help us make our decision. The way she guided us, demonstrated her ample experience and knowledge with our type of situation. She was supportive and caring. Heritage has been a God sent solution for our family. The facility is bright, clean, and inviting. It offers mom the privacy she wants and the support she needs. Thanks again to the entire staff, you are wonderful!

My sister Maxine and I toured many assistant living places looking for one where our sister Glenda would be comfortable when we toured Heritage Woods of Dwight we knew this was right for her. The staff and residents were so helpful and friendly and my sister loved it.

Heritage Woods of Dwight is the perfect place for my grandma. Brandy the administrator made the whole process so easy. The staff and residents are very friendly and inviting, they even had a welcome home sign for her when she moved in. Brandy did a great job making my whole family feel confident that this was the right decision for my grandmother and that she would be well taken care of. My grandma is enjoying all the activities, great food and new friends.
