I've been going to Felicia for years. Her, Carla, and Margaret have always been kind, caring, and professional. My insurance is now out of network but I pay out of pocket willingly to remain in her care

Margaret does not know anything about insurance so don't even bother asking her. Confirmed there are ONLY TWO GIRLS working there, Carla front office and Margaret as back office. Well just my luck Carla hasn't been in all week since she is "sick", according to Margaret. This is Thursday when I am calling to confirm my appointment for Friday, the next day. Well according to Margaret since she is merely reading Carla's comments in my chart, I have to pay cash price OFFICE VISIT $150.00 to be seen by Felicia since my insurance wont cover. I've confirmed with my insurance Felicia Williams is in network and all I would have to pay is my $50 copay, which I have no problem doing. Per my insurance PPO states Felicia's office has to submit authorization for me to be seen. According to MARGARET she's never seen her office manager do any such and in order for me to be seen I would have to pay cash price. BUT they can submit for authorization AFTER I pay $150.00 and be seen, which makes no sense to me but complete sense to Margaret. This place is ridiculous. Don't bother wasting your time. It was a relief seeing a new mental health center in the AV only to find out they are as bad as all the other mental health facilities out here. Save your time, read reviews because they are all right. This place just wants your money and to get you out of their face as soon as possible. They simply do not care. Glad I was never seen as a patient there because these reviews are terrible. Felicia if you do ever read this, do better.

Don't bother wasting your time!!!!

Felecia Williams perscribed me medication for bipolar disorder. Come to find out her assistant
Margarit & Felicia skimmed over the fact I was taking medication previously for depression & anxiety. So when Felecia found out, she decided to lower my prescribed dose I was already taking from the ER. Margarit (Felecia William's assistant) told me  if I had any problems with the lower does then to go ahead and take an extra. I thought okay, since she's telling me this then obviously Felicia is on the same page. WRONG!

I run out of 10MG medication (because I was taking two 10MGs to get 20MG) so the pharmacy tells me they can't give me another refill unless I have Dr. Authorization. Turns out felecia didnt want to do that for some odd reason and I was unable to even take the 10MG from the pharmacy , mind you (because I was taking two 10MGs) & ran out quicker. So what was I to do? I had to go to the ER & get the dose MY BODY was use to.

I receive a phone call the next day from Margarit saying I "went behind Felecias back & didnt listen to Drs. Orders." & wanted to drop me as a patient.

Umm... WOW?!?  Unprofessional in so many ways and I have still yet to even receive a call back concerning the matter from Felecia. How do you say it... i guess BYE FELECIA

Horrible! I went to her because I needed help tapering off xanax that a previous doctor had given to me. I was a wreck and in the midst of withdrawal symptoms from cutting myself off my meds. She refused to help me taper and when I explained that it was dangerous to be taken off cold turkey, her response was, "Well the Dr. that prescribed them will be liable for that, not me!" Then after all of 5 minutes of speaking to me she somehow jumped to the conclusion that I didn't have panick disorder that I was bipolar! Are you serious! You cannot make a determination like that after 5 minutes. She then tried to give me seroquel. I went to her to be free of medication, not to be put on something else. When I spoke to another psychiatrist I was told that is insane for her to try to diagnose me like that in such a small amount of time. I will never step foot in her office again.

Felicia is changing lives one patient at a time. So blessed that she is here in the AV serving and making a difference!! Karla and Margaret are professional, compassionate and courteous to each and every patient as well.

*DON’T BOTHER. WASTE OF TIME* Doctor(NP) has a HORRIBLE attitude. Very condescending the 3 times I saw her. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt. She started me on a medication that was actually working for me. She put me on Adderall for my ADHD for 3 months and then took it away because I didn’t want to take the Abilfy she had also prescribed. I did research and found that it was an anti psychotic med and I was not willing to take too many meds at the same time. So on my last appt she became bothered when I told her I didn’t fill the Rx for the abilify. I was always 100% honest with her and instead of willing to work with me, she decides to drop me as a patient. Despite the fact that I told her my ADHD med was working for me and was even changing my life, she then tells me she’s no longer going to give it to me and to go see an actual psychiatrist since “she’s only a nurse practitioner”. HORRIBLE experience.
