We had a fantastic day in Frankenmuth at Octoberfest. The town is unreal and everyone was super friendly. Bonners Christmas store is a must stop.

We stumbled across this 7 years ago. My family has had a great time every year ever since. And the people are great! They add more events every year. The favorite of ours is the pumpkin launch.

Had such a great time. In terms of event some things would be beneficial to be added such as beer pong, corn hold, or flip cup outside. Inside the band is great and food great. The beer is also amazing and people very friendly

It's the smallest one we have been to in the country. Limited food option and inky one type of beer. Frankenmuth is one of our favorite towns but this wasn't an October fest. Plus they actually charge for such a small gathering. Try the GAF in Oregon OH or Columbus Octoberfest.

Loved that the event was at Heritage park. Such a better venue than downtown. Major complaint was that food options were horrible. They had one caterer running the only three stations. They ran out of over half of their menu items, shut down the buffet early for running out of food, had huge lines and horrible customer service, and poor food handling hygiene. To top it off, the food was expensive and not very good. A big disappointment! Why was the Lion’s Haus not open? They always have great food and great service!

The Frankenmuth Oktoberfest is great but the price/quality ratio is starting to get a little carny.

And the biggest problem, still... You can't take a growler home with you. Makes no sense!

Love the music, beer and crowd. Really really wish they'd put more effort into getting traditional Bavarian food. You can get a good Bratwurst, and the giant pretzels are fun, but the buffet is always a disappointment. People come for an authentic experience.
