My home is on the market and listed “10/10 Critical FEMA flood zone.” That a buyer will not be able to “obtain a mortgage without separate flood insurance.” This is INCREDIBLY inaccurate and highly aggravating. It is making selling our home with this inaccuracy IMPOSSIBLE. It needs to be removed ASAP, I’ve reach out several times to no avail. This needs to be resolved by next Friday 10/25/24 or I will be seeking litigation.

My property was listed 8/10, and a severe flood risk. What a crock. I have lived on the property for 14 years and never had one minute concern of any possible flooding to the buildings.. For the entire time I've been here, I've never made a claim of any flood damage. Flooding is not possible to the buildings because of the slope of the land. All the water drains off no matter how hard it floods. Totally exasperated by this bogus rating. A total disservice to the public.

Seems to be a SCAM or at least very poorly operated. Offer a free trial you can cancel. I canceled immediately after realizing it didn't have the data I was looking for and am still being charged $36.99 a month. Trying for 2 months to get it taken care of but there is no contact info on their site. They refer you to canceling on the site however it shows I have no subscription to cancel.

In your response below you completely missed the point. Don't take my personal information on the promise that you'll provide me information, only to suddenly not provide it unless I give you a credit card number. BEFORE I typed in my personal information into your systems you should have made it clear you were going to take credit card information. The fact that you put these entries on different screens is all a tactic. The fact that I can unsubscribe is closing the barn doors after the horses got out. This is a simple change on your side, but I'd be willing to be that if I checked back in 12 months, it will still work the same way.

They rate my home as a moderate flood risk while rating all the homes around me as a minimal risk. The property behind me is 2-3 ft lower than mine. There is no way my home could flood with the neighboring property being so much lower unless they think water flows uphill. I believe they also think my home is on a concrete slab and it is not.

I think the inclusion of the climate change predictions in the flood ratings of homes is a gross misuse of data. The rating provided for my home conflicts with the flood zones published by FEMA and disregards the drainage structures put in place by the builders. There has been nothing close to flooding during very severe storms in the 11 years I have been here. The solicitation of donations on the site in order to dig deeper into the information on the site, and the reliance that Redfin has placed on this site without explaining the variance from FEMAs flood zones, borders on a scam operation and should be investigated.

Not impressed with the incorrect flood risk data. When contacted the agent is snotty and condescending and refuses to correct it. The property is adjacent to other neighbors which have a 1/10 flood risk, yet mine, which is no different than their properties is somehow a 9/10? Not at all accurate or believable.

Horrible company. I have a flood risk of 8 and there’s no water on or near my property. I also have a fire risk of 8 when I have no flammable material near my home because I’ve don’t the defensible space and removed all dry vegetation. The state fire marshall and the state insurance commissioner have been trying to get this company to give me an accurate rating but they never respond for comment. They don’t even care. They just fill in random numbers for your ratings. They’ve never seen My property.
