Office staff are very friendly and accommodating. Dr Carpio is knowledgeable, fair, and asks the right questions. He has most of the answers to questions we might have, and if he doesn’t, he will get back to you.
His nurse, however, could use some training on being nice. She’s a bit rough around the edges, not super friendly at all

We have all experienced doctors who pay little attention to what the patient has to say about their own health. Dr. Carpio is NOT one of those doctors. Spend a bit of time thinking about what your issues/needs are before a visit with him and be prepared to find him receptive to what you have to say. He is intelligent, with a quick mind and will dig into what your needs are and create a program of care.
Needless to say, I appreciate him.

Dr. Carpio is my GP. He takes time to listen to my questions and answers in a way that is easy to understand. He explains different procedures and the pros and cons of each so that I can make an informed decision. I never feel rushed. All of the staff in this office are kind and helpful.

I’m a fairly new patient to Dr. Carpio and have only seen him a few times but I am extremely happy with him. He is a very good listener, I never feel rushed. Very knowledgeable. I have no complaints other than I wish it was easier to get an appointment.

Dr. Carpio is an excellent doctor, and his staff are friendly, kind, and efficient. Dr. Carpio is bright, responsive, and caring. He listens to me and involves me in decisions regarding my health care. Dr. Carpio is prompt in replying when I send him a message in the secure portal, and he has referred me to equally awesome specialists when I need it. Bottom line, I won’t be going anywhere else!

My wife and I LOVE Dr. Carpio! He is the best Dr. we have had. He is pleasant and listens intently to his patients. He considers their requests regarding medications and referrals and more. We drive from Lincoln to Auburn just to see Dr. Carpio. His staff is friendly and kind as well. He is the best part of Sutter Health as far as we are concerned!
