I had booked a wedding event with this company at Bella Vista hotel and suites and it was a horrible experience and we had to cancel with them and lost our deposit. From the beginning the guy we were supposed to meet with to view the venue was late. We could never reach anyone after we paid the deposit. They were never scheduling meetings with us to meet with the wedding planners. And they lied about several things throughout the process. This was the worst experience of my life for what was supposed to be the happiest. The whole point of booking a wedding planner is to make things easier on the bride but they made it harder. Do NOT book with them!

I loved working with Entwined Events as part of Bella Rose Plantation for Julie and Alex’s Wedding on October 5th, 2019. Working with Courtney is always a treat - On the wedding day, she kept the busy day on schedule and was very attentive to detail. Love that she always brings a great attitude!

Rachel Vest at Entwined Events was amazing! We had our yearly Winter Party at Bella Rose in Forest and I have no complaints! From the planning stage to execution was flawless, she listened to our requests and was completely present during the entire experience. The food and drink service were amazing and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. 10/10 would recommend for any wedding or event!

So my husband and I got married in October of 2023. It was a beautiful wedding and they worked with our budget and made it a memorable day. However one part of the contract stated that you get your security deposit back, however we have been waiting since November to get our security deposit back and the only thing we're told is, it was mailed out. We have not received anything from them but have received other regular mail. They keep giving multiple stories of checking with their office and then taking days/weeks to get back to me about it. I just want an honest answer and to get the security deposit back like the contract we signed stated.

My husband and I were married at the Bedford Columns in September 2023. Our wedding will be cherished forever. It was the most beautiful and unforgettable day of our life. However, we would like to share our experience with the Entwined Events management and staff. Our take away from the team includes over promising and failure to deliver.

To begin, we had two planning meetings with our original wedding planner prior to her being fired by Entwined Events. We were made to work around Entwined Events schedule in rescheduling planning meetings with the new planners. It took weeks of both my mother and I calling and emailing to schedule meetings.

During the planning process, the wedding planners were not transparent about costs. My mother had to pull strings to receive itemized accounts of what we were paying for.

The AC in the bridal suit would not cool below 85 degrees, making it a very uncomfortable stay the night before my wedding.

We paid for a seating chart for our guests and the agreed upon seating chart list provided by myself was not followed. The mother of the groom and all plus ones were left out. This showed lack of attention to detail especially when we paid for an extra service and provided them with a straight forward seating chart to follow.

Additionally, safety remains in question as one of the chairs in the bridal suit was not fastened properly with bolts. I sat in the chair after getting my makeup done and fell to the floor. When approached and alerted, Entwined Events upper management was accusatory of my actions with the chair, use of alcohol, and insinuated fault on my behalf although the chair was being used with its intended purpose.

The additional signature cocktails we chose were inconsistent. Some being strong and some watered down, resulting in waste.

My husband and I didn’t receive an anniversary cake as promised.

When asked multiple times to accommodate a disabled family member, directly, the staff didn’t place a chair at the ceremony or reception for the family member to place their leg on.

In summary, due to inconsistencies, safety, and treatment from management, we would not recommend any family or friends to use Entwined Events or consider their properties for future weddings.

My wife and I got married at Bedford Columns and it was absolutely magical. They have a great package and everything is spelled out for you, crystal clear, what’s included and what will be add-ons to the package price. The planners are very helpful and communicated fast. The flowers are stunning, we were amazed at how their team took our vision and pins from Pinterest and turned it into something unique and totally us. Food was great…from tasting to the wedding day it was the same. This property is steeped in history and old world charm. The upstairs bedrooms were perfect for us and our close family. I have read the other comments and that’s why we decided to leave one ourselves…we had an amazing experience and unless you’re just totally disgruntled, I don’t know how you have a bad experience with this team. They’re everything they said they’d be. Thanks Entwined for making our day spectacular!

This was the most important day of my life and I will always cherish it because I married my husband that day, but Entwined Events hurt me with how little they cared about making my day special and how they promised many things in the contract that they failed to deliver. My husband and I celebrated our wedding at Bedford Columns which we thought looked very beautiful from the photos, but in person and after spending the night there, we realized that the property is not very well maintained and is actually falling into disrepair. We enjoyed working with the wedding planners, but we did feel like once we signed a contract, then they pushed several things at us that cost extra such as all the flowers, dj, cake, and food. It felt like it was not disclosed up front how much all of that actually cost. We were told that the projector in the theatre and the wifi would work, but the wifi did not work at all, nor did the projector. Unfortunately the two nights that we slept there, the AC didn´t work at all so we were miserable. There were a lot of other things that just made it difficult to enjoy. We overlooked a lot of the issues because we enjoyed our wedding and time with family most of all, but it made it difficult to enjoy with the lack of attention to detail and general disregard to quality customer service that we experienced. When we alerted management to our issues, they basically responded with an oh well attitude and did not try to rectify the situation, apologize, or make anything right. They actually knew months in advance that their ABC license was not operable at Bedford Columns, but they didn´t alert us to that until 4 days before our wedding so we had to buy all of the alcohol ourselves and set up the bar. This showed us that they were in fact portraying one thing when reality was something else. We believe this to be true about many other things at the property and with the service. After the wedding they tried to keep our money for the alcohol that we had already paid them for and which they never delivered. They only refunded it to us after my husband had to threaten legal action. They are unorganized and do not care about the customers. I believe it used to be a great place, but it is heading downhill fast.

My wife and I had our wedding at Bedford Columns in July 2023 and while it will always be our special day because we got married that day, it was only special in spite of Entwined Events as there were several ways that they dropped the ball or straight out insulted us during our experience which I will highlight below:
1. Just 4 days before our wedding we received an email letting us know that they would not fulfill their part of the contract regarding alcohol which included wine and beer being served. They offered no explanation as to why. As a result we had to buy several hundred dollars worth of beer and wine and deliver it ourselves. This took us several hours out of our already busy schedule to do.
2. The bride and groom suite was consistently 85 degrees both nights we stayed there. We were miserable. We alerted EE about this, but they did not seem to care or try to remedy the situation at all.
3. We were told that the projector in the theatre works and that we could watch movies in there together. After gathering the wedding party in the room and trying to get the system operating for over 90 minutes, we finally gave up. We are technologically inclined so I can tell you that it was not our error. The system does not work even though we were told that it would.
4. The building itself is not properly maintained. There are columns that are detaching from the rest of the building and could fall over. The exterior is falling apart and needs to be painted or some sections completely replaced. On the day of our wedding there was a shutter that blew off and was sitting in the parking lot as well as a piece of metal siding. Because our room was so hot, I attempted to open a window and when I did it the top section shot down so fast almost slamming my finger and then it was impossible to put back up. I alerted the staff about the window and nothing was done about it for 2 days so we slept another night with the window wide open and even hotter in our room as a result. This was our wedding night.
5. After the wedding, I emailed management asking them to return us our security deposit, alcohol fees (since we bought the alcohol ourselves and which they previously agreed to refund), and comp one night in the bride and groom suite since it was 85 degrees in there both nights. They responded to our email that we would not be getting our security deposit back because we didn’t check out till 11:15 and we were supposed to check out at 11 the day after. After reminding them that they dropped the ball on so many other things and we were gracious with them as a result, that if they did not give us our security deposit back, I would be seeking legal action, they agreed to refund the security deposit.
6. 2 weeks went by and we finally got a check in the mail from them, but it left out the $700 that was due for the alcohol refund. This felt like they were really trying to take advantage of us or they are just really unorganized, or their accountant is bad. Regardless, we got the feeling that we are small people to the wealthy Runk and Pratt parent company of Entwined Events and that they felt like they could take advantage of us. Perhaps they simply don’t care about their lesser wedding venue and they will just make as much money as they can off the Bedford Columns without maintaining it.
7. Since the wedding, it has taken them an average of 10 days to get back to us in each correspondence via email. We still have yet to receive the $700 refund of the alcohol which we paid for, but they never served us!
8. Since we have shared these issues with management in a cordial email, they have not expressed any sincere apologies or attempted to rectify any issues. It seems like they present a general “screw you” mentality to their customers.
9. While the newer wedding planners are sweet and genuine, it is obvious that upper management does not care about you or your wedding and they simply want to make money off of you. Run away as fast as possible.
