I recently had the pleasure of visiting Emmanuel Church and it was truly a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality.

A kind member, Phil, extended a warm invitation for me to join him and his wife during the service, ensuring that I felt not only welcomed but also included in the community. Their friendliness and openness made me feel like a part of the family right away.

What stood out most was how well the church catered to the needs and interests of my teenage children. They attended the middle and high school ministry class and absolutely loved it. The engaging content and the approach of the instructors made them feel comfortable and encouraged them to participate actively. It was clear that the church values the growth and spiritual development of its young members. Shout out to Pastor Justin for the electronic invites shared with my children!

The sermon was delivered with passion and sincerity, resonating with me on a personal level. The facilities were well-maintained, and the sense of community was palpable.

Overall, my first worship experience with Emmanuel was a wonderful experience. The warmth and hospitality extended by Phil and his wife, along with the exceptional youth ministry program, left a lasting impression on me and my children.

Kudos to Pastor Hancock and his staff for creating an environment that focuses on spiritual growth while valuing service, unity, and diversity. I wholeheartedly recommend this church to anyone seeking a welcoming and nurturing spiritual community.

I felt welcomed and loved. Wasn’t looking for a church, I had one for many years with an amazing church family. However, I visited while staying at my daughter’s and felt God’s calling to serve in a way that I never have before. Emmanuel has an extremely swollen heart for missions, not just abroad but within our own community as well. The people there truly have a passion for the Lord that goes beyond Sunday’s. Not saying that my other church didn’t have that, here is just so much bigger and broader. Sometimes we can get TOO busy and look focus of the prize. I have a heart for missions and the program here is extremely robust. Their missions program is active all year around! I just want the Lord to find me faithful when He returns, serving Him and busy fulfilling His commandments. With this latest situation in the world I somehow feel His return is very near... Oh Jesus come!

A welcoming and friendly "come as you are"; "it's OK not to be OK" place of Christ centered worship where Welcoming people, always greeters and lot attendants in the parking areas (even with umbrellas in rainy days) fellowship/greeting area with coffee and other refreshments....a place away from home that always feels inviting.
Celebrate Recovery on Friday nights. Not just recovery from alcohol and drugs but recovery from life's hurts, habits and hangups.

Update: Our beloved pastor, Vic Simpson, went to be with the Lord in June 2018 after a long battle with cancer. He would be pleased to see how the church is continuing on with his vision to equip seekers and believers to be "fully developing followers of Christ."

I've been a member for over a year now. Our Pastor recently said "we don't care if you wear a necktie or a neck tattoo. All are welcome here." This is the most welcoming church I've ever attended.

If you want a "home" this is the place to go. Vic Simpson's heart lives so deeply in this church making it the most inviting and welcoming 4 walls you could ever enter into. The most beautiful part about it is that they take church to all parts of the world. If only every church could be as down to earth and full of purpose as Emmanuel.

Christmas Eve was wonderful at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. The children and youth presented the Christmas story in song and action. What a glorious sight it was as they protrayed Mary, Joseph, the angels, innkeeper, shepherds, wisemen and others. Being able to sing along with the songs made for a more participatory performance. Great Job!!

The 7 o'clock candlelight service was graced with many visitors. I am so sorry we did not get contact information from most of them. We would welcome everyone back to worship with us over and over again.

Well, at 11 o'clock we began a beautiful service with candle light and Holy
Communion. When we walked out of the church, it was Christmas Day!
Awsome! Thanks to everyone who participated as well as all those who attended. May the love of Christ fill your hearts year-round.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

We visited here while we were in town visiting my son. Very nice people and a good service. As a church employee myself it was nice to be able to sit in service and enjoy it away from home thank you.
