Very frustrating trying to get answer why they never got my paperwork, which includes bank statements that were turned in over 2 weeks early and x-rays showing if I don't get surgery done toy back asap my next seizure could paralyze me. I did talk to Jennis Montrose, and again, just a big run around, and all she said is my medicaid is active. I've also used my own caregivers because most people don't know absolutely nothing about migraines, seizure, nerve damage, and arthritis. My daughters and sister have been my caregivers for about 15 years until last year when they were denied because the place I was dealing with wanted their people working on me. It looks like I won't be getting any surgery and risking go paralyzed until I get an answer, but so far, one letter to tell me I was denied for adult income because they never got my bank statements almost 3 weeks early. Now they're saying I make too much money when when I spend most of it on food and getting other people who know condition to help me. I can't even take all my medications because there is very little food to do so. I will be talking to many people about this until I find out why I'm not getting no letters, answers, or calls. Then Jennis Montrose told me I made too much, but dhs had me running around getting bank statements instead of just saying that if I get more than $250.00, I don't qualify. There are so many problems with getting a caregiver I trust and want and like not to mention all the problems I had with my medicaid, which I got letters from my doctor saying it wasn't approved as proof along with all my paperwork from years ago for my caregivers situation. Now I just want answers, and I'm willing to do what it takes to get one. How could anyone make a person hold off on a very serious surgery that could paralyze me at any time?

Honestly should be ZERO STARS! Horrible organizational skills. Non-existent support all around. Lack of urgency in important matters. The list goes on. I suggest a FULL sweep of the department and start over. Utterly ridiculous! I’ve attached a literal picture of the office.

tried calling at 745, they’re saying they are still closed even tho their system says 730. you people are lazy and don’t want to work

We delt with the DMV after going to canon city, and finding out we weren't going to get in for over a month. We were in and out in under 10 min. Just be prepared my dude! I was quite pleased woth how fast it worked. Same goes for when I got a copy of my son's birth certificate. In, out, and done. Again just be prepared! Also expect complication, you're not an exception. You're actually the rule. Learn patients, and if it's not going your way try another avenue. There are actual options. And if you don't see any, don't be ignorant, ASK! Also learn to be patient, and a decent person and don't take your life's story out on someone that is just doing thier job. Your feelings matter, but so do theirs.

I have had nothing but issues with them. First they don't seem to know how to handle paperwork. I had to resend my stuff 3 times and it still didn't get fixed. They had to put a ticket in to figure it out. Now that it's fix I can't even get a sure call back on setting up my son's doctor. Which she also had to put a ticket in for and was like they just call you when they get to it Y'all don't have a time limit to get back on a request? Doesn't help that I wait over an hour every time I need to fix something. I'm disabled and can't just go to the office every time Y'all mess stuff up. There needs to be a better way for us to do this because even the app suck.

I would like to give 1000 stars and a shout out to Bethany Opsahl. She is the best CCAP worker there is. She tries to guide you and helps you with options for daycare. Thank you so much Bethany. You’re going places lady and you guys should give her a raise!! I see Management in your future.☺️

This place is just full of liars. Good luck getting anything done. I had a scheduled appointment over the phone at 3:00 P.M. Sure enough no phone call. After an hour of waiting, i decided to call them. I spent almost an hour on hold and after finally getting ahold of someone and they look into the notes they state that whoever was supposed to call, which they didn't give me a name, had noted that they called twice, no answer and left two detailed messages. I told them that's not true because i had been sitting in front of the computer, with the benefits website pulled up and logged in ready to submit any documents they may need, an i received nothing. I told them that's why I'm calling, because no one called me. I pulled my daughter out of school early because her pick up time was at the interview time to just get lied to. I even asked why they were lying about it, because clearly those notes were false, all she said was " that would be a weird thing to lie about." Well then you tell me what happened because clearly one of your employees did it. I hate this place. I wish someone would investigated it. I mean the reviews clearly speak on this place's reputation. Well see what happens tomorrow. Not much hope.
