I have been a patient of Dr. Persaud for a couple of years. Dealing primarily with minor allergies and sleep apnea due primarily to restricted sinuses.

He carefully listened to my issues and after a series of tests he recommend a series of treatments I followed.

After 2 sinus procedures and and the use of the recommended CPAP I am now able to sleep through every night uninterrupted.

I have also seen several other of the doctors in the practice and am equally impressed with their services.

I find their technicians competent and the office staff professional and communications are excellent.

If you want a ENT that takes the time to listen to your issues, recommends workable treatments and follows up I recommend Dr. Persuad and his practice.

My quality of life is now much better due to treatments applied.

Finally, if you have sleep apnea/snoring do not be afraid of a CPAP. I found it easy to adjust to, especially since it gave me the ability to sleep through the night without “snatching” myself awake at night to breath.

Where to begin... I have gone to this Practice for several years up until Nov of 2012 when I finally had all I could stand. The quality of the medical care is good however you will wait an extraordinarily long time to receive that care. I have had 2 surgeries (Septoplasty) and Allergy treatments at his office. If you have an appointment with Dr. Persaud you will need to literally block out 2 - 4 hours for just a routine visit. If you get allergy shots you should plan on being there at least an hour. Multiple times I arrived for my appointment on time or early, informed the staff I would need to leave within 2 hours AFTER my appointment time and I have had to leave without being seen because they can't seem to schedule their way out of a wet paper bag. I have actually recommended they seek a Scheduling Consultant to assist them with their daily schedule but the recommendation fell on deaf ears. Their problem is they simply overbook every single day. Once I decided to fire him and go to another physician I requested my Medical Records and paid the fee to have a copy sent to me. This was on Nov 27, 2012. I was told I would have my records in 7 - 10 business days (via snail mail). Of course they never arrived. In January 2013 I had to go to the office to get them. Once I looked through the records I found I they only gave me maybe half of my records related to just the ENT visits and none of my Allergy Records. When I called them to get the rest I was told they would not give them to me. After I informed them they had no choice as it was covered not only by HIPPA but Georgia State Law as well they started stalling. They claimed they would call me back and never did. The last call I made to them I informed them I would have my Attorney contact them if they did not comply to which I received a very snarky reply of "Well you just do that sir, You have your Attorney call us". I was MORE than willing to comply with that request and I had my Attorney call them within 5 minutes of hanging up the phone with them. They then decided to finally return my call and said they would be happy to send me the remaining records (via mail). We will see if they actually arrive (and if it will actually contain all of the missing records).

Bottom line, if your time is valuable you should seek a different Doctor's office. If you want to catch up on say the Iliad and the Odyssey by Homer, or maybe the unabridged Mahabharata, then this is the place to go as you will be given more than ample wait time to read the longest books ever written. Take a copy of the Epic of Gilgamesh as well, you will have time, trust me.

Called to pay my bill for a missed appointment and wanted to make another appointment, I kept getting left on hold and spoke to 5 different people asking can they help me. It started with Lauren telling me to hold on, then the call went to a few others. I don’t know if they were playing games or kept forgetting I was on the phone but each person acted like they was on something but it wasn’t prescribed. Within 3 days, they started sending me constant bills about the missed appointment that I was trying to pay them for.

Once again we had over a one hour wait to see the dr. Upon arriving 15 minutes early we noticed that we had the same appointment time as the patient in front of us. So he was double booked for the time slot. I understand this is common, but unnecessary. After waiting an hour when the dr came in I commented on the wait time and he expressed that "this is how healthcare in America is now, get used to it and that soon wait times will be longer". I expressed that regardless of future healthcare his practice had lengthy wait times of 1 to 2 hours ever since we had been going there starting in 2000. He got angry and said obviously I was disrespecting him and should see another dr. I disagreed and said he would honor the appointment. Bottom line this doctor is rude, has long wait times and disrespects his patients and does not value their time. I do not recommend.

I requested an appointment with Dr. Persaud, and I was surprised that another doctor walked into the room. After paying the cash pay price of $195, the doctor basically laughed at my concerns for my 4 year old son and dismissed me. So, now I still have concerns about my son and will have to pay another doctor to hopefully give me some real answers.

Dr. Persaud put an END to chronic allergies 🤧 and sinus fungal infections that were controlling my life! The balloon surgery coupled with allergy shots and CPAP management has freed me from the bondage of constant sinus misery . Now I am free to tackle other issues that need my attention. They keep the patient waiting room in the 60s with the fan constantly blowing. It is cold enough to hang meat in there and extremely uncomfortable for patients having to wait. The office manager is aware and refuses to do anything about it.

Just cancelled all future appointments Dr Persaud is great his staff is not, nor do they care.....back to searching for an ENT.
