I have a undiagnosed form of bone disease. Dr. DelBello has been been my doctor for the last 18 years, and has completed a total of 22 surgeries on me! He is a very talented and skilled surgeon. He is always available, will talk me through the surgery as many times as I need, return my calls to answer my 20th question...., and get amazing results in the operating room.
I've been around the world to many world class doctors in the last 18 years, for second opinions, research... and I've found over and and over again that Dr. DelBello's expertise, skill and gentle care, far surpasses all of them!

I can't be more thankful that God put Dr Delbello in my way. Dr. Delbello saw my daughter back in April 2019 because she was diagnosed with severe scoliosis , he was very patient and very respectful to our feelings after we got the bad news that my 12 years old is having a spine fusion surgery. He gave us all the time we needed to ask all our question and he gave my daughter also all the time she needed every time we went for a visit until the surgery day, each time my daughter had a big list questions and he always answered and reassured her. We knew that my daughter was in good hands. She had the surgery on May 29th, 2019 and she spent 6 nights at Maria Ferrari children's hospital, dr. Delbello came every other day to check on her personally and the rest of the team came multiple times every day. My daughter was on pain medicine for the 6 days she spent in the hospital and for another 3 days after she left the hospital and then she was good to go without any pain killers. Today, 3 months after the surgery my daughter is joining the Volleyball team at school and has her life back. Sometimes we had to wait up to 30 min to see the doctor in the middletown office but that was expected because of the time he spends with every patient. Believe me it was worth the wait time. My daughter is doing much better than all her friends who did the surgery elsewhere. Thank you Dr. Delbello and all the team and thank you to the Maria Ferrari children's hospital and all the nurses and the team who made my daughter's life much easier during that hard experience.

Dr Delbello was wonderful! He listened to us and our concerns, responded quickly to our concerns and is a fantastic surgeon. Our daughter is 18 days out of spinal fusion surgery and is pain free for the first time in a very long time.

Dr. Delbello is a phenomal doctor. Once you get to know him he is also a great guy. I see negative reviews about the wait time this has been fixed. We have seen him for 4.5 years with our daughter for hip dysplasia. He was honest, caring and thorough. She was just cleared. My family is eternally greatful.

My daughter went to see Dr DelBello in his Fishkill office. We arrived 20 minutes early and the large waiting room was packed. Me managed to find 2 seats though not together. We sat there for over 4 hours. Then we were called up to the desk and told we needed an x-ray so were sent to the facility in the building. We sat there an hour then got her x-ray and returned with it. Now there were no seats left. There are other doctors that share the waiting room from his practice. We stood there and about 45 minutes later we were called into a room where we waited another half hour. We spent all day there, and she missed school to be there in the morning. Dr DelBello came in and asked "why we were here" and sat down at his computer turning his back to us and started to speak. He wanted to know why we even needed to see him and then said her scoliosis went from being stable and mild to moderate. I asked if there was anything that needed to be done and he said "no, there is nothing much wrong with her and then he said she also had a collapsed disc in her spine (no doubt as she is always in pain). I said thats what must be the issue with all her back pain and he stood and said "I have other patients to see " and left us. My daughter was hysterical. He was beyond rude and my daughter was made to feel like he had other patients with "real" issues and hers were not that bad. he even had said that to us, that his patients have much worse issues than my daughter so he had to leave to treat them. What a horrible bad doctor. I guess you need to be a surgical patient, one that he makes a lot more money off of to be treated like he cares. DO NOT go to THIS Inhumane Doctor

I took my 10 month old to Dr. DelBello for the first time today expecting to wait after these reviews. I had a 10:20 apt and was in the room by 10:20 and seen a few minutes after. I was extremely pleased with him and our visit overall. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing Orthopedic doctor for their child.

He's rude, he's impatient, and he's a jerk. If you don't have an extra two seconds of your busy day to say "please" and "thank you" maybe you should be doing something else for a living.

I used to travel to Delaware for my son to see his Orthopedist for Severe Kyphosis-scoliosis. Now that’s a trip that took all day. We found Dr. DelBello 2 years ago in dire need of a pediatric orthopedist who could fix my sons grow rods that were letting go and were a complete mess. My son’s complicated kyphosis was something other Dr’s didn’t even want to touch. And as a mom with a 12 yr old kid who has self esteem issues because of how his back looked I wanted to find someone that could really help him. Dr. DelBello was a Godsend for us. My son’s back looks great now and he feels so much better. He used to be in pain everyday. I would wait in the waiting room all day if it meant my child seeing a local pediatric Orthopedist that helped him the way Dr. DelBello has. I’m hoping to keep him as our son’s Ortho until he no longer needs growing rods.
