I've been a member of the Dallas Polo Club for about 6 months and it's a a really nice experience. Bil, Will, and the other members are very welcoming and so kind to my young sons. I started very much as a beginner with little riding experience, but with their coaching have come a long way in a very short time. While learning polo and riding, I've also learned horse care, tack, and safety.
If you are interested in a casual environment to learn a fun and exciting sport, I encourage you to check it out. Its become a regular family outing for me!

Very nice people, lessons are $500/10 or $100 to try. They also host Polo matches you can pay to come watch, and with certain bundles they'll cook actual food there for you and your guests.

Visiting from the UK, had 2 1 on 1 lessons with Will which were great. Very friendly atmosphere and would definitely recommend if you’re a beginner or done a bit they’ve got the right horse for you to develop on. Looking forward to the Saturday chukkas.

This barn is extremely unprofessional and an unsafe/ toxic environment. The owner and his son fight constantly and aggressively, the women are talked down to and treated terribly (inappropriate comments, touching, and overall bullying), and the barn is falling apart.

I would not recommend this barn to anyone, especially not women. The owner will pick a girl on his team during practices and harass her the entire chukker to then later tell her how dumb she is and her innate inability to play polo as a woman. The owner claims to be “teaching lessons/ coaching” but he will just scream at you and insult your intelligence, appearance, and abilities in front of spectators and all the other playing members. In my time at this place, I faced harassment, constant embarrassment, misogyny, verbal harassment from owner, uncomfortable comments, and putting up with being treated as less than a person. I genuinely have never been somewhere that shamelessly treated other people so terribly.

The horses live in terrible stall conditions (trash, cement dirt stalls with no shavings or padding, no water in the stalls, broken stalls held together with bungee cords) and are somewhat “run down” (missing shoes/ no frequent Ferrier, or veterinarian, cuts and wounds everywhere, malnourished, lameness, ulcers, etc).

Even after being a player here for many years and having stopped playing a while ago due to injuries, I still would not recommend this club. Do not waste your money here unless you want to be incredibly stressed out, publicly humiliated, feel unsafe, and treated with zero respect. I wish I could tell this to their face so they could know the impact of their actions, and to make sure that no other girls or women go through this barn.
