I finally got into this shelter on 8/2024 I felt really good because I had a job and finally after almost a month living in my car I got in at CCC but the good did not last long they made sure at most of the house meetings we was told that we did not have much time left. I was offered two housing options but I only qualified for one of them that would only pay my rent for only four months but I had to look for me a place instead of my case manager helping me with a list of landlords who except the voucher but instead she gave me a list of other homeless shelters and telling me that I had a few days left to stay when I actually had 2.5 weeks left to stay then they wanted me to attend these other meetings that depended on my stay there when seems like they were more worried their about a couple ladies who worked their internship than us being placed with stable housing. The person who was my cm told me that I was only going to get a few days extention and mind you I had a job so I left the next morning because I feared I would be living in my car without a safe place to live with a job

I experienced domestic violence. I asked for help at a crisis center and they didn't help me. They treated me contemptuously. When I complained that they weren't helping me, they said that if I didn't feel like it, I should go somewhere else. This was told to me by a therapist, a lady who works at the desk, who is equally rude. I will never go back there.

I will say that if you ever need help like seriously trying to figure it out and want to feel completely safe yet free of will with the support of other women this is the place for you and just be honest with your situation

The staff is amazing. What lacks is communication very disorganized. The structure of it all. I hope it is getting better however it was not easy dealing with all of it. A lot of the reviews are true. However, a lot of it has to do with the structure. there is no communication between the staff and the family or persons in the facility. I hope it improves. The staff is very wonderful one on one.
