I came across this church because of my mom. We grew up Catholic. I probably stop going when I was 12. My mother has always gone. When my father died a couple of years ago. My mom decided to go to her sisters Christian Church, she didn’t want to be alone. Well my mom loved it. She felt like family.
When my mom came to visit me. She asked to find her a Christian Church. We found Community. Went to 10:45 service, we loved it. Pastor Ted spoke, wow what a speaker. We loved that he spoke about everyday life and scripture. The music, the best. We came back the following Sunday. My husband came with us. He truly enjoyed it, which I was surprised. He even went by himself when I was gone. I highly recommend this church.

Visiting Chicago for a new job’s training requirement. Staying at a local hotel and came to this church for the week. And let me say, it was amazing! Sweet, loving, cozy little church. Their praise and worship is great! Today was a Christmas kickoff sermon speaking of the ‘WONDER’ of Jesus and it was spot on. I am very shy to lift my hands during praise and worship but at the end I just couldn’t help it.
I’m definitely looking forward to attending next time I’m sent over here for training.
Also met a man named Rob, very welcoming.

Our family has been attending Community Christian Church - Downers Grove for almost 2 years and couldn’t be more thankful for the impact it’s had on our lives. My wife and I searched for a long time for a church for our family, and had a hard time finding one that was the right “fit” for us. After trying many different churches, we found Community Christian Church in Downers Grove. From that first time we walked through the doors to every week since, we have always felt welcome and completely different than any other church we’ve ever attended. We are encouraged by the message ever week, and it always has a strong relevance to our lives, careers, and relationships. We've made great friends at Community and love how it’s brought us closer together as a family and connected us to the community as a whole. If you’re searching for a church for yourself or your family, we couldn’t recommend Community Christian Church enough! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed.

Our family has been going to Community Christian Church of Downers Grove since it opened in January of 2018. It has been an incredible addition to our community, and has had & continues to have a huge impact on everyone in our family. We’ve fortunately gotten to know the Pastor and his family well, along with others from the leadership team, and they are all wonderful people. Community does a great job providing practical ways to implement the messages from week to week, and on how to connect with others in our church and the surrounding area. I can’t recommend it enough. Give CCC of DG a chance and come on a Sunday soon!

Community Christian Church in Downers Grove has been a true blessing in my life. I have been able to connect with so many welcoming and positive people since attending the Downers Grove location which has allowed me to grow in my faith. Small group and volunteer opportunities have been a great way for me to meet new people and connect with them on a spiritual level. Community takes a hands on approach and there are practical ways to be involved and help. There are countless opportunities to contribute, volunteer, participate and connect to people within this community, local community, and other communities. CCC is special in that across all of its locations in Chicagoland area they are connected and utilize that network to reach even broader areas of this state, nation, and world.

My wife and I committed ourselves to CC Downers Grove earlier this year and we had our boys dedicated a couple months ago. I trust this church to help lead my boys to become Christ followers. I also trust many members of this church with my own personal successes and failures. The lead pastor along with most (if not all) of the staff are great people who truly care about you, by taking time to talk to you and meet with you if needed outside of just service on Sundays. There is something very special going on here in this young church, and I believe there are many great things are to come. I am usually a little hesitant when talking about church, so if you are the same and are looking for redemption or just simply a new church, trust me when I say , “you need look no further” you’ve found a good one!
