Best place in Henderson. The worship leader is hands down better than anyone you'll hear on popular radio. Fellowship is amazing. There are tons of different small groups and fellowship groups to get involved with. People here are always kind. The youth ministry program is amazing as well. The pastors treat everyone like family and preach with conviction. If you're looking for some place casual but not worldly then this is definitely it.

We're new to the area so we visited a few churches. We visited here & stayed. Everyone is so welcoming. We love the story & the history of this church. Pastors Brad, Mike & Evan are wonderful speakers as well as friendly and engaging. We have definitely found our home church. The coffee is amazing too lol

Nice church, we attended for about 6 months or more and decided to check out other church's. Great worship and teachings. Lots of small groups. Just wish more insiders would try harder to embrace outsiders. Lots of smiles and waves but no real interaction. But maybe i should have followed through on a small group attendance.

I moved here from Ny in October of 2009. I was in recovery for years and was just getting acclimated i immediately got into my AA and N.A. groups but had no church. My mom moved as planned a few months later, she unexpectantly passed away 3 months later and I fell back into addiction. I had been battling ptsd from childhood trauma for as long as I can recall. I met a gal who was an active member in this church and uh before I hit an ultimate bottom she took me under her wing sponsored me and introduced me to lake mead Christian academy when Eddie was our pastor. Long story short Eddie took time from his busy day to walk me through my issues as counsel and I believe it was all God from then on. Since then no matter what I consider lake mead my home church. I live in summerlin and am struggling right now because amongst not giving my life over to God fully as I should have, I had given birth to Aleeyah Lilianna Oates January 27 , 2020 and she passed away June 2, 2020 and it tore my family apart. Thankfully I am clean but Im suffering from that God shaped hole.Thats how I describe it . I love this church for so many reasons. I love how pastor Randy speaks about the Bible with such enthusiasm and he keeps me interested as with my 10 year old daughter who has been so inquisitive about God. Unfortunately I don’t have answers for her questions all the time because all this time I should have been studying the Bible so I could answer her questions and I was not. This is a place where when you hear “ come as you are” it’s meant. No judgement passed. If I have a respectable Al fit to wear I will wear it because I feel like church is my date with God so I try to dress as such but during times when I didn’t have clothes or felt sick I’d come looking however and I was always excepted. I’ve tried churches close to my home and the message is not fed to me the same. It’s hard to explain but over all , after all these years this was, is and will always be a place I feel safe at. A place that I’ve had many surreal moments between God and I, moments that only he and I know. I pray all who are blessed with the opportunity to be part of lake mead church, come with a heart and a mind wide in open because despite the fact that I know God is evibecause there are so many believers in one place that the spirit is super strong here. This is just MY OWN personal experience. In conclusion, Lake mead church in an entity will always hold a super special place in my heart and God knows exactly why.
