Rabbi Nissi and Chaya are running an amazing congregation at the heart of Fi-Di. Being part of it during my residency in that neighborhood always felt over welcoming with incredible services for shabat, holidays and other fun activities. Can't wait to come and visit again.

The Chabad of Fidi is truly a great community. The Rabbi and Rebbetzin go above and beyond to inspire, educate, and engage the Jewish Community of Fidi. My 3 years living in Fidi would not have been the same without the Torah classes, Shabbat Dinners, and holiday celebrations that Chabad provided. Thanks to the Eber family there is a place for Jews of all ages to celebrate and come together. If you are reading this review, do not hesitate to reach out to Rabbi Eber or attend your first event.

I am really happy me and my family got to know Rabbi Nissi and his family and be a part of Chabad of Fi-Di here at NYC. After moving here from the “very Jewish” UWS of Manhattan, we really missed having a community, and we found an open, accepting, and welcome community where we can meet like-minded people who live in Fi-Di and also like to enjoy and feel their Jewish life. There are great events to celebrate Jewish holidays and Shabbat evenings together, learn, mingle and enjoy good kosher food as a reward. Would highly recommend anyone who is living, or visiting in the financial district (or even not residing in the neighborhood) to join.

The JLE was my go-to place for classes, services, and holiday celebrations for almost 5 years before I left NYC. Rabbi Nissi has created a great community that is very accepting regardless of your age, how observant you are, and where you come from. I enjoy celebrating Judaism more as a tradition and history of my people rather than a religion and the JLE is probably the only community I know where I didn’t feel pressured to go beyond my comfort zone.
