I was provided the opportunity to work closely with CSAS and it’s founder several years ago. At the time I was an Instructional Coach and had been placed in what was identified as a low performing school. CSAS was charged with supporting the faculty, staff and the student body. We received top quality professional development which was tailored to the needs of not only our students but to the request of the teachers. CSAS worked hard not to provide us with “cookie cutter” PD or one size fits all strategies and interventions. The team was personable and took note of what was needed within our building and understood how to support teachers based on the demographics of our student body. I feel that CSAS provided me with the tools needed to support my colleagues at that time but also left me with a filled “toolbox” to use after we all moved on. It was great to work with CSAS because they held us accountable for our actions and celebrated our success!
