Amazing place for the homeless! The staff is VERY friendly and understanding!
Open from 7am to 11am. Gotta arrive by 9am for showers and laundry.
You can store some clothing, shower, do laundry and even have mail sent here!

Recently fell on hard times. Places like this are an amazing thing to have in the community, I would have a very difficult time affording to launder my clothes without them. Staff is very friendly. They offer showers, laundry, coffee, a place to stay out of the heat, places to charge your devices, mail, and referrals to other services in the area that cater to the homeless and impovershed. Some of the people who come in can be a little rough around the edges so just mind your business.

Awesome place to go fresh up and shower, do laundry and charge your phone while drainking a good cup of coffee. They also will let you use the place for outgoing and incoming mail and phone calls. Grand junction Co is an awesome place to get back on your feet and meet new people. The atmosphere is just breathtaking!!! God is good!

Fantastic place for those homeless or just in need of a helping hand-, the Day Center offers a place where you can do laundry, take showers, use a phone to call on jobs, a nice place to relax, the center offers a mailing address for those that do not have a place and you can check your mail on a daily basis if you want, and there is also some activities that may interest you, from weekly rides to some places in town , medical connection,, consultation on any social service and assistance on how to fill up applications for food stamps, or medical applications, referrals voucher for clothing for the Catholic Social services, and information to the soup kitchen for a daily lunch cafeteria style, and the chance to take food items or other canned or boby cleaning items, like shampoos soaps etc, if you need emergency food,the food kitchen will make arrangement and provide an emergency box. At the CSS.office they provide religious counseling, assistance filling for housing, assistance with energy bills and information on what's available for apartment search.

The Day Center on Third and Pitkin has helped me do my laundry more than I can count and I'm about to start going back there again. I have an upstairs laundry room that is really hard for me to haul laundry up to. I get a cup of coffee and can take my meds while I'm waiting for the staff to finish the laundry I have placed in the washer. They dry it for me and I do the folding. It really works great. Best days are Tuesdays and Thursdays but you need to have your clothes in around 7:30 A.M.!
As for the Outreach Center, they have a soup kitchen that feeds at Noon to 1P.M. Meals are scrappy lately but nutritious and plentiful. You can pick up a loaf of bread and sometimes yogurt, a gallon of milk, and occasionally veggies and fruit. I take a covered dish with me for an evening meal since seconds are allowed after everyone else is fed. I take home their ripened bananas, peel and freeze them, then
put chocolate "crackle" ice cream topping on them for a delicious frozen banana treat. I can't say enough good here for all they do out of that building! If you need help, they are there for you or know who to go and see! Stop in the Catholic Charities office even if your not Catholic the next time you have a genuine problem to solve. I'm sure they have the answer! I was homeless last winter and they were the best resource in town for me during that time!

Was living out of my car when i first got to town, really needed a shower and to wash some clothes. I was told to go to the day center and that they would help me out. However, once i arrived they turned me away because of no vaccination card. Dirty and homeless as i was the local gym accepted me with open arms and a hot shower. So unless youre vaccinated and have proof of it, this is not the place to go for help.
