I had the worst experience here. I came here with my mom to get a consultation with someone named Melisa. She was condescending and rude the entire time. I have never been treated so unprofessionally by someone. She made my mother feel like a second class citizen. For this to be a non for profit helping people they have a horrible way of explaining thing. I think this person needs a training on how to tone down passive aggressive behavior. I understand people have bad day, but that is no excuse to talk down on people. It’s worrisome because she said she trains people there. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND for anyone to go here to get information unless you’re looking to have fear instilled within. I went to an ACTUAL LAWYER who let me know that the information provided by this person was minimal and did not actually have much evidence of even being true. I would love for a supervisor or manager to call me so I can explain this in more detail. This is not a charity that actually wants to help people unless the cases they encounter are super easy. Instead of telling people it’s not possible to do anything they should be more honest and just say THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DO IT. Please don’t waste your time with these people.
