I’d leave 0 starts if I could. I was told I didn’t “appear to need help.” I’m not even sure what that means, but I did attempt 2 apply for assistance not once, but TWICE to NO avail, but Catholic Charities are calling and VOLUNTEERING to assist non citizens. My heart goes out to all the individuals ESPECIALLY women with CHILDREN who’ve endured the same distasteful service. Sickening.

I have been out of work since Sept due to surgery for severe spinal stenosis. I am single and live alone. I have managed to survive this long on savings but now I have no longer have any
My attorney has my case with Disability. Until then, I am facing homelessness and utilities terminated.
I emailed "Hal" and he emailed me back saying the Catholic Charities don't pay utilities nor rent when you are in severe need.
Yet all pages for Catholic Charities state that you do.
I am a Catholic and this is horrible to advertise this, yet don't offer the service.
Then, he would not enlighten me on what they can offer assistance for when he was asked.

Awesome God inspired long term/standing organization within the local community & surroundings parish areas. I praise Catholic Charities for assisting homeless ppl and/or just ppl in general whom are down on their luck. The volunteers are always bouncing fun to interact with, having a sense of urgency in their spirituality & the benefits of serving God & offer a genuine concern for assistance recipients or the general public as a whole.

The entire staff really show concern about helping people who are really in need of their help. Their always kind and take the time to listen.? I appreciate each staff member who has helped me and yes they have the heart of Jesus. Thank you for each call you have returned, your kindness, and the love of Jesus is expressed from all of you.

I understand I am the one in need and organizations function within their own set protocol and schedule, but it's a bit angering and disheartening when I'm already having to swallow huge mounds of pride to ask for anything especially the shame I'm paralyzed by when calling for a food bank and all 7 in the area that I've desperately called all point the finger at the other and it really is a whole circle of ridiculousness and shame especially knowing these organization receptionists are being paid by our tax dollar just to answer the phone and without the faintest slight, care, compassion, understanding, and quickly say no. No food pantry. Call next door. It's a whole circle and what's sad is where is the virtue and beatitude to this? I guarantee you I've given 20 times more than I've ever asked for anything. And out of all those that answered the phone that I spilled my heart out to, I myself would have made sure that hungry brother or sister was connected to some food source whether or not I took their name and went bought it myself. It's a shame that the one time I cry out in desperation I'm unheard and overlooked especially when it's coming from non profit serving the Lord. But In my heart I knew it would be this when I started calling and I pray compassion be given to all the cold dark hearts of this present age because I look around to see none. Thanks for the embarrassment and too bad I can't say thanks for the food.

This organization came to my aid after Hurricane Delta. They sent very knowledgeable volunteers and they were able to patch my roof until it can be replaced. It's not raining in my home. I would like to ask companies please donate, whether it's shingles, tarps,or tree cutting equipment. It makes a difference. Thank you and keep up the excellent service.

My house got total Dec 2022 from a Tornado I was referred by several people to Catholic Charities didn't get any help call back six months later still couldn't help they're a joke don't waste yall time.

Michelle and Kim have I just do believe have the greatest staff and the most nicest sincere employees! They are very understanding and patient! And they take time out to listen to what each individual has to say!
