Do not purchase an attached home in this community. These homes are not built quality and you can hear the neighbor doing laundry in the attached garage, and/or hear the neighbor in the kitchen closing cabinets, close microwave door, etc. yes, you can hear all. I’m speaking from an owner of an attached home that has been sold. I’m not reviewing the unattached homes. Only the attached homes and what you pay for these homes you should not hear the neighbor through the walls.

Most people don't fancy HOAs, but Casta Del Sol does a good job in maintaining uniformity, consistency, and the quality of life in this community. Communication on meetings, events, and activities is top-notch. Greg, Valerie and Evelyn in the office are fantastic.being new to the community as well as being a former Board member and President at other communities I can certainly appreciate the HOA, committees and board who bring it all together for the good of the community. Service requests are handled in a timely manner, and as far as value well, it does cost a pretty penny, but the community is quite large and the amenities vast. Just a shout to say thanks to the HOA and all of the volunteers who keep things on track.

Great and vibrant community to live in. So many different things to do. So many different clubs to join. If your feel you have nothing to do you need to read the Casta Courier and you will find something to do.

HOA abuses it's users, doesn't follow their own rules, says one thing but does another. Doesn't take care of their problems, doesn't care at all. Paying HOA for no good reason. tells user can't put satellite dish on roof, but FEDERAL LAW states that no HOA or city or state can deny any satellite dish service.

Beware of Carlos at gate one. He's one rude guy. I would never recommend anyone I know to live there based solely on his employment there. He called the person I was trying to deliver to and they didn't answer. I kindly asked him to call again and he said that I had to get on the back of the line if I wanted him to do that. I asked for a managers number and he refused to give it to me. Coward.

OMG! The rude, unprofessional security. When the gate guard at gate 2 made the comment ,"Your kind of people" I was floored. As a Jewish man in Southern CA I have not had to endure much antisemitism, until today.
