I had a great time vending Amber Delight gemstone and amber jewelry at the Camp Wingmann 2nd annual Fall Festival October 7th, 2023! On Saturdays, I normally set up at the Cottage Farm Market by Sebring Library, but I enjoyed the change of pace. The Camp Wingmann staff is very accommodating. We were encouraged to use the bathroom facilities closest to our spot, which happened to be in a beautiful, empty efficiency apartment in a house on the property. Families get away here from the hubbub of town to bond. Getting out together into nature here is pure fun!

Camp holds a very special place in the hearts of so many people. It has provided us with a safe and loving environment to grow in our faith journeys, build beautiful relationships, learn so many important lessons, and do so many other things while also having fun. I have been involved with camp for ten years now, and am incredibly blessed to be a part of this family.

This place truly is a place like no other. Many describe the atmosphere to be a thin layer between heaven and earth. I have been going here for almost a decade and now serve on staff. I love how we can help kids know and grow in christ in such a fun and enjoyable way.

My daughter had an amazing time during the Winter Camp. She did not only get to socialize and have fun but she actually did a lot of growing and maturing in her faith. She came home with a completely different attitude. The staff is great and thoroughly vetted and trained.

Where do I even START?! My daughter went to Camp Wingmann for last weeks camp and LET ME JUST SAY, from the moment I picked her up I noticed a VERY positive shift in her!! She immediately started talking about the level of respect she learned and how she was going to help me (her mother) more and be more Kind & Empathetic to each member of the family, she implemented family bible study at our home for 30 mins each evening and gathers up her siblings to pray and read the bible together, she raved about how much love and care she felt from her camp counselors, the FUN Activities she was involved in, ...Tubing, the Talent Show, learning Creative Writing and she said it was the BEST food for every meal shes ever had. Needless to say she WILL be back every year! THANK YOU to Camp Wingmann & your staff for being so incredible with my 13 year old, she will never forget that week and neither will I. She came back renewed. Forever Grateful.

This Camp is amazing! My son started going when he was in 6th grade and has continued every summer. He grows in his relationship with God and always comes home with a positive outlook on life. The camps are weekly throughout summer and are split up according to age. The camp has several activities and campers are busy from Morning until night. The counselors are fantastic. They provide a fun, inspirational, competitive, and caring camp for all.

My daughter has had some great experiences at Camp Wingmann- outdoor adventures, kind and attentive counselors, singing at the top of her lungs in the all-camp choir. Large doses of Christianity of the devotion-love-and-peace variety, rather than the do-right-or-suffer variety. Accordingly, she returns home full of zest and determination.

The camp sits in a beautiful setting on a Florida lake under an oak hammock. Kids sleep in rustic cabins with bunk house sleeping arrangements under tin roofs. Father Bill manages to keep the kids running, singing, learning, playing and praying all day- a perfect antidote to the school term. So glad we found Camp Wingmann!
