How is one’s expression of support for the President of the United States and the enforcement of immigration law grounds for revoking membership in an organization which is supposed to promote lawful business. Mr. Shalom is 100% correct when he says the Democrats care more about the ability of illegal aliens to game the American system of benefits than providing for American citizens. Actually, he isn’t correct at all. The Democrats don’t really give a damn about illegal aliens. Just ten short years ago, these same Democrats, especially Hillary Clinton, were advocating the aggressive enforcement of immigration laws for the benefit of their union constituency. Now that they have lost the union vote in private enterprise (they still have the government and teachers’ unions in their pockets because illegal aliens pose no threat to their members), they cynically view the illegal aliens as potential replacements for the union votes they once had. Might I also suggest an anti-Semitic component to the hypocritical outrage displayed by the Chamber of Commerce. Had this been a Middle Eastern restaurant operated by a Muslim, I doubt the Chamber would have revoked its membership for expressing the identical views. What a sick, demented and pathetic group of leftists are in control of these purportedly civic organizations.
