The worst experience ever. They rushed and gave me a random closing day. There was a lot of sketchiness during the process. They told me to close without an inspection. The pic below are 2 days before I was scheduled to close. The builder was so upset about me voicing my concerns and dissatisfaction that He suggested I terminate my contract. They refused to refund any of my money and are no longer responsive. Do not buy Duskwood or with this builder Chuck

I had the pleasure of working with Gene Carter at Bear Creek. He was very professional and helpful throughout my home buying process. Every question I asked him, he always responded back with an answer. He'll send us weekly updates on the building of my home. From start to close, Gene has been there every step of the way. I'll highly recommend him for any DR Horton homebuying needs.

Omg where do I begin. First off, Gene Carter with DR Horton Express Homes has been nothing short of amazing. I am a first time homebuyer so I was very nervous and scared about starting the process of purchasing a new construction home. My wonderful realtor got me an appt in the Bear Creek Ranch community and introduced me to my sales rep Gene and from the minute we met he has been nothing but professional. Gene assisted me with picking out my lot to build my home on and throughly explained the full process of new construction with DR Horton. Even months later he still sends me frequent updates and pictures on the progress of my new home and he is also great at responding to any questions or concerns I may have. He has really made this process smooth for my family and I. You rock Gene Carter!!

Live here now and don't thinks is very safe...we are not apart of city of lancaster and considered Dallas county...but not really apart of Dallas either. I hear gun shots all the time and theft in our neighborhood, who patrols this area? I'm not a happy owner

I won’t buy in this neighborhood at this time. There are a lot of issues with the HOA board, management, issues with the pool, walking trails and safety of the neighborhood. Things have not been or addressed in several years.
