I had applied to get help and got an extension in court as well so that I would have hopefully enough time to get help.
At first the team at avda seemed like they were taking it seriously and made me think that they actually cared

Fast forward to today and the representative at avda I have been speaking to just admitted to not even getting my application submitted.

Now I have court Friday with ZERO representation for my case with my abuser. This is an absolute joke. How can you have a job that requires you to handle people’s personal needs and forget to do something as simple as submit an application?

The fact that they don’t request any sort of evidence to file a case against someone else is wild. You’re telling me that you will take any case of anyone claiming to be a victim of domestic violence even if they were never a victim. You should be using your resources helping actual victims and not people who are mad with their ex and want to go after them.

Samanta buenrostro was good heart ,compassion ,she heard my story........about lawyer stephanie shipp since day one didnt want to understand my needs and i had hard time comunicating with her , she treated me unfairly and racist ....she got mad for speaking up for myself and she never care for my case and she dismissed from my case and left me alone in court , it was unprofessional and she is friends with the other defendant lawyers ..........
