Ashburn Village has many great features. The walking paths, pollinator gardens, the beautiful lakes and fountains are just a few to name. One of the amenities Ashburn Village offers is the Sports Pavilion. Right in the heart of Ashburn Village, this one of a kind gymnasium offers a large indoor pool, basketball courts, a variety of workout classes and so much more. Also, in the Village you will see some historic architecture like the clock tower pictured below. It was recently restored in 2022 and is now in working order. Another reason I enjoy living in AV is because of the people you meet. The community is diverse. Lastly, I am so grateful for the many choices of restaurants, fitness centers, and healthcare options.

It was such a pleasure to deal with Lydia Jessup at the Ashburn Village Community Association. She complimented me on my property, but said the annual review showed that I needed to power wash my front steps. She said there was no violation, but would need a picture of the steps afterwards. I appreciated this consideration ! Great customer service !!

The staff is always extremely helpful. Recently my daughter who is home from college for the summer wanted to use the sports pavilion, but for some reason her old pass was no longer in the system. Lydia helped me to get a new sports pavilion pass for her and had it ready on the same day, even though it was after 4 pm when I requested it.

Thanks for approving these initiatives in recent Board meeting:
- Extending walking trails, equipment at the sports pavilion, shade for playgrounds.
- Installation of additional security cameras at the Sports Pavilion parking lot.
- Seasonal holiday lighting to be installed at our entrances.
- Extending the outdoor pool season next year into early September.
- Adding perennial plants for seasonal color at the main entrances.

These are great decisions that will improve the Village for everyone.

The new HOA management is really on top of things and has been completing projects all around the Village, like painting and pruning, refreshing the pools and pool furniture, and installing new playgrounds. The association office staff is friendly and knowledgeable and will work with you to resolve any issues, within the HOA by-laws. Alexis is a gem in the Covenants department, and Amy is the go-to person in Membership Services, especially if you’ve just moved in. The HOA has great communications through their email blasts, the Villager magazine and their website. I wish more people would read their Villager magazine, because it has everything you need to know to live in an HOA. I lived in Ashburn Village for over 14 years. It's a wonderful community.

We love the fireworks and love them coming on July 5. They do a great job. Our only request would be if there is a possibility of having more police or traffic guards at certain Ashburn Vlg Blvd intersections close to the fireworks. We and hundreds of other cars in Dominion Trail Elem School on Bruceton Mills next to the school were stalled at a standstill for 45 or more min because no one would stop on Ashburn Village Blvd to let any cars out.

My wife and I are AV Residents and we recently rented the Mills Rec Center for a friend’s baby shower. Kiera has been working with us throughout the rental process and has been absolutely wonderful. She was always available and thorough whenever we had a question or needed help with anything. Thank you Kiera!
