I have had 3 home inspections done in my life and Chris at A-PLUS has by far done the most thorough job I've ever seen. He spends almost the entire day with various equipment to find everything, and I mean EVERYTHING. Some items are just good to knows and does not need to be fixed but he documents them for you anyway. He is easy to talk to and explains in detail his reports. I would 100% recommend Chris to anyone that's looking for a home inspection.

After having several other inspection services fall through I was referred to a friend to A-PLUS. I gave them a text and a call and within 30 minutes Chris Chitsey called me back, scheduled an inspection, and got me taken care of.

The day of the inspection Chris was on-time and talked me through the process. He was clear, thorough, easy to understand, and genuine. He then asked us about our specific concerns and things we had noticed and took great care to listen and discus those items with us. Then over the course of the day (about 7-8 hours) he worked tirelessly to do the most thorough inspection report I have ever seen.

There were significant deficiencies that the Inspector from a year ago completely missed. Chris took the extra time to break down the major issues and concerns in a clear and approachable way. He broke them down by severity and priority to help us understand what we needed to focus on with the builder and what things were largely superficial.

I cannot say enough about how profession, exceptional, and polite the service that Chris and A-PLUS offered. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Chris is an amazing Inspector! As a Realtor I know that recommending him to my clients is the best decision I can make. He is thorough, and does not rush anything. He makes time for his clients when they are there. He loves to educate them on the important parts of owing a home. He does not use scare tactics or brings things up that MAY exist in the future. He shows them how the home is performing at that time. I have never had a client wish they didn't use Chris and his company. Chris is also a structural engineer so you get a two for one with him! I was very impressed with how thorough, detail-oriented, professional, and knowledgeable Chris was. He went above and beyond, taking great care to conduct an extremely thorough inspection, utilizing technology such as a thermal imaging camera and other devices to make a proper assessment. At the end of his inspection, he took the time to explain to me what he found and why certain things were either great or defective, and what he was looking for. His depth of knowledge as a master board inspector and master degree in civil engineering was on full display, but what was even better was how easily he was able to explain it all to me. He then sent me (that very same night) a 55 page report filled with multiple labeled pictures taken during the inspection and comments fully explaining everything he found.
