Both of my parents went there per their wishes. One in 2012 and the other in 2021. I am absolutely sick with the thought that either one of them may have been handled in a disrespectful manner that lacked any respect and dignity. Is there an agency that can be contacted for families to inquire about their loved ones?

AGA of IL was there for my family 27 years ago, providing care and concern as was fitting for the occasion. This past week, as I prepare to bring my father's ashes to his final resting place in Europe, I reached out to AGA for assistance and advice.

Maria T was able to research that far back and provide all of the important documents I needed to travel internationally along with helpful advice. I thank Maria and her team there for decades of stellar service and caring helpfulness! 🙂

I am so disgusted that someone would do this !!! You have no respect for anyone , people donate their bodies to be studied and still need to be treated with respect. I honestly I hope whoever did that heinous act you’ll get what’s coming to you and I hope this organization opens in investigation because I’m going to get to the bottom of this and see who’s the owner you know as well as complaints on management . There’s a whole video circulating social media about this so you can’t cover it up.

My brother had a contract to donate his body here. At the time of the contract, the weight limit was 300 lbs. At some point it was changed to 250 lbs, even though the web site still listed 300 lbs. as the weight limit. Shortly before his death, the organization was contacted and the donation was reconfirmed. At his death the funeral home delivered his body, but the body was rejected because it exceeded slightly the 250 lb. limit. Arrangements then had to be made for the funeral home to return to pick up his body at considerable expense. However the disgusting thing was with the lack of decency shown toward a family member who had to make the additional arrangements. The workers showed no dignity when referring to my brother’s remains, explaining how his body would be rotting on their shelves if they accepted it. Their manner was completely insensitive to someone who had just endured a great loss. I would think twice about donating a loved one’s remains to this organization.
