I recently had the opportunity to experience the exceptional care provided at Alderwood and I couldn’t be more impressed. From the moment I walked in, the facility exuded a sense of warmth and professionalism. The staff is incredibly skilled, compassionate, and attentive to each resident’s individual needs.

The nursing team goes above and beyond to ensure comfort and safety, always taking the time to answer questions and explain care plans. The facility itself is clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, creating a welcoming environment. Additionally, the activities offered are diverse and engaging, helping residents maintain both physical and mental well-being.

I’m particularly impressed with the level of communication and respect shown to both residents and their families. I highly recommend Alderwood for anyone seeking quality, compassionate care for a loved one.

Do not put your loved ones here. This place is horrible. They treat the patients like there criminals. If you say something to a nurse that they don't like they punish the patient by forgetting their meds. They don't answer the nurse call button that is supposed to mean the patient is having a problem or in trouble. I watched on more than one visit the call button go unanswered for more than an hour while there were several nurses just standing around at the nursing station completely ignoring the alarm beeping and light flashing on the wall showing the room and bed that is asking for help. My friend fell down and he hit the button for help and they never came. He had to crawl to a chair and use it to help himself get up causing him tremendous pain. They finally showed up an hour and a half later to see what he needed. They give very little rehab activities and or appts even though the doctors orders are for extensive physical therapy. My friend got 30 minutes of physical therapy a week. They Are very oppressive. It seems they don't care about the patient getting better they just want them to lay in bed and not ask questions or cause problems. They have no intentions of getting the patient well so they can return home. DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONES HERE IF YOU WANT THEM TO GET BETTER AND RETURN TO THEIR HOME. PUTTING THEM HERE IS A DEATH SENTENCE!!!!;

Concerned for my father after reading the horrific stories from families who had to endure the incompetence from this facility. I noticed that on every review that had less than five stars, the facility did not bother to respond. However, on the comments that were Five stars and were more than six months to 11 months old, they made sure reply to them. BIG Red Flag!!!!!🚩
It’s giving bad vibes and unprofessionalism

I was very impressed by many of the people I encountered here. There are many kind and caring staff. They were very good at listening to feedback. The food improved while my loved one was here.

Would not ever recommend Alderwood to anyone.
My experience was not good, especially with my medications. I arrived at 1:00pm. My meds were not there until 5:00am the next morning. I take a number of antidepressants including Zolpidem Tartrate for sleep. So no sleep the 1st night.
The last night there was only 100 mg of TraZODone instead of 350 mg. Staff even tried to convince me that the 100 mg was correct. Again little to no sleep that night.
The second night someone poured liquid medicine into my mouth while I was asleep. Possible for it to go down my windpipe chocking me.
The physical therapy people knew next to nothing about new dialysis catheters. The new catheter requires stitches to hold it in place. Exercising using arms stretched outwards pulls the stitches dangerously and painfully. Training is needed.
