Access Point Denver is an incredible resource and a true lifeline in our community. Their harm reduction services go far beyond just providing supplies—they are actively saving lives and creating a space where people feel supported, respected, and empowered.

One of the things I appreciate most is their commitment to offering safe smoking supplies like bubble pipes, straight stems, and hammer pipes. These small but vital tools help people take safer steps and reduce harm in their daily lives. On top of that, they provide free Narcan and offer training on how to use it, which is an absolute game-changer in combating the overdose crisis. It’s heartbreaking to see so many lives lost, and Access Point Denver is out here making a real difference by equipping people with the knowledge and tools to save lives.

The staff? Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe them. They’re super freaking cool—kind, approachable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They treat everyone with dignity and understanding, which makes a world of difference for anyone walking through their doors.

I also love their new location at 936 East 18th Avenue, Denver, CO 80218. It’s easy to access, and they’ve done a fantastic job making it a welcoming and safe space for everyone who visits.

Access Point Denver isn’t just a harm reduction center—it’s a hub of hope and positive change in our community. They’ve had such a profound impact on my life, and I know I’m not alone in saying that. Thank you for everything you do, Access Point Denver. Your work matters, and it’s appreciated more than words can express!

Always fast, friendly service ALWAYS. Volunteers are so wonderful, kind, and knowledgeable. Even the clinic where you check in and wait for service is awesome. I've never been judged, looked down upon, or treated negatively since going. I've seen the front desk always keep a good attitude and proper business ethic when dealing with rude, sloppy and even mentally disturbed clients when other places have not been so accepting or tolerant of certain clientele. Not one poor experience literally ever in the 4 years I've been going. Always a first recommendation to anyone asking about type business and even when I don't live in the city I'll always continue coming here when visiting Denver.

Was actually a decent experience considering my trepidation about going in the first place. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and not once did they "look down on/pity" the patrons . Extremely grateful for all the knowledge passed on to me and so appreciative of the RSS that they provided. Thank you staff of Access Point.

Heaven - sent service and wonderful staff. Friendly, knowledgeable, and welcoming! Plus, normally there's an incentive type service they offer for exchanging dirty to clean syringes! They offer new supplies to the community to help promote staying safe(r) and clean(er)...you get your own business card clarifying that you are staying safe with your supplies supplied directly from the Access Point with their address and everything - so one doesn't get repercussions for carrying their supplies!! Pretty effin nifty!!!

This is one of the most important non profits that's ever been designed. Everyone is welcome here and is in a judgement free zone. People can get supplies for free, and there is a lot of services provided in addition to the exchange. They offer free therapy, supplies that aid those in need, have a food bank and a doctor's office on site. And all of this is 100% confidential with some of the most caring workers you will ever meet. Please show them the respect they deserve because they don't owe you anything and do this simply because they want to help those of us who may not be able to get it elsewhere. Therefore, they DEFINATELY deserve your upmost respect, because while you are not faced with any sort of judgement ny them, they face unbelievable amounts of judgement from the public who are ignorant of what they are trying to do, and that is to save people's lives, like yours. Their job is not easy, however they will meet every client with a smile and try to do anything they can to provide a service for them. So let's all work to show our appreciation and do whatever we can to prevent them from having any added problems from the public. Be grateful they are here because without them alot of us would not be alive.

The staff are very helpful and caring. Everytime I go there it's like visiting a friend and even the clients are friendly. The food bank is also great cause everything is donated along with the staff and volunteers purchasing some stuff from their own pockets out of the kindness and caring in their heart. They are angels sent from Heaven.
